Since owning my truck new, the vehicle has had numerous issues with loose exhaust and engine components. The truck has had loose catalytic converter bolts, heat shield and exhaust components causing severe vibration in the driveline, dash and floorboard. My son has the same truck 3.0 LZO other than his being a 2025, he has experienced the same issues.

My engine started knocking while on vacation in Indiana (I live in TX) I took it to dealer [XXX] and it was diagnosed with bearing failure. Engine "ordered" on [XXX]. It is currently [XXX] still with no ETA for new engine. Stuck with a small/standard SUV (chevy equinox) for rental in place of my $74,845 Truck which is not a large enough vehicle for my daily usage, but no solutions or help added from GM customer service or dealership. There were no warning signs other that me hearing the noise. My GM app still states no current issues with your vehicle. 2021 GMC SIERRA 1500- Larwill, IN
I purchased a new 2021 GMC Sierra Denali with a 6.2L engine on 03/05/2022. On November 10, 2022, I started the truck, and the engine seized up. The truck had 9018 miles on it and 274 engine hours. The main bearings and possibly the connecting rods bearings was the problem. On January 27, 2023, I finally got a new engine installed in my truck. I had to pay for the repairs.

2023 GMC YUKON XL- Maple Valley, WA
At around 23,000 miles the vehicle collapsed a lifter - Took it to a dealership, fixed the lifter and asked them to confirm that the lobes of the cam were good and that all bearings were in good shape - approximately 2 weeks later, complete engine failure on a busy highway, no good place to pull off the road, no reimbursement for towing bill, no rental car - dealership put new motor in (took 5 weeks and GM did nothing to help us with the situation) and now we have the same bad 6.2 liter motor in the vehicle that is likely to fail again withing the 25,000 miles. Manufacturer refused to answer specific questions about the motor and could not tell me if this new motor was built to satisfy this known issue - the new motor has the same part number as the previous motor so consensus is that it has the same failure possibility leaving family in a dangerous place on the roads. GM still refuses to discuss this with us as the customer!

While driving a new 2024 GMC Sierra SLT (13,000), I received a prompt to SERVICE SAFETY RESTRAINT SYSTEM. My airbag lamp also illuminated and is now on. Upon researching this issue, it refers to potential failure of seatbelts and/or airbags. I have an appointment tomorrow at the dealership to have them diagnose the issue.

2023 GMC YUKON- Midlothian, VA
While driving my 2023 Yukon Denali on [XXX] towards [XXX] , the check engine light came on and my truck stopped hard as if I jammed the brea but my foot was still on the gas and the RPM’s was moving. I was lucky that I was in the far right lane and there was no car behind me at the time or I would have caused an accident. I after 30 minutes waiting on the side of the road, I started up my 2023 Denali after letting it sit and put it in drive and drove 30 mph because I did not want to take the chance of my suv stopping abruptly again. I contacted a GMC Dealership and explained the situation and I told I am on my own and I would have to pay up to $10,000 for a engine and it would be no guarantee of being reimbursed by GM should I need a engine.
