Took 2 months to get truck back and now afraid it will happen again. GMC should offer a buy back or different year of truck at no cost.

The truck has 12k miles on it and a week ago a bearing rod in the engine failed without warning. An engine should not have significant issues like this after only 12k miles of use. The truck is now with Williams Buick GMC in Charlotte, NC and waiting for a replacement engine.

This is the second time this occurred, once in Oct 2024 and on 1/25/25. While driving the check engine light came on and within one minute the vehicle began to stall and within 20 second the engine shut off. The first time it happened in the middle of the road and the second time I was just able to turn onto a side street. In both cases the vehicle would not restart and left me stranded.

I bought the vehicle in October 2024 ever since then I have been trouble with the differential, the automatic starter doesn't start the vehicle unless you are at least one feet away from the vehicle. I drove to work when I got off and got in my vehicle my check engine light was on. The vehicle was saying there was an issue with the battery, antilock braking system. I bought an extended warranty up to 150,000, I currently have 63,400 on my vehicle. Empire Buick GMC of White Plains has not been honoring my warrantee, I had to rent a car to get back and forth to work because of fear of riding the NYC subway.

My car is allowing me to drive without the key fob. I've drove two hours away from my house where my key fob was. It allows me to shut off the vehicle. Vehicle says ' no remote detected. Press Brake to restart. This is the 3rd incident. This is definitely a safty issue. Someone can take my car 2 hours or so from my residence.

I was on a hunting trip when my almost brand-new GMC Sierra 6.2L broke down, approximately 20,000 miles on it. The vehicle started making a ticking noise while I was driving out of state, en route to our lodge. Early the next morning the engine light came out and the vehicle came to rest close to a stop sign. I was very fortunate someone was following me in a different vehicle. The vehicle would not start afterward and had to be towed to the closest dealership. Being a new GMC owner and nearly 7 hours away from home and in an unknown area was extremely stressful. The dealership service department was closed on Saturday (the date of the incident) and Sunday. The dealership was less than helpful and did not return my phone calls on an already stressful day. My trip ended on Sunday and I was forced to rent a car at Enterprise. Unfortunately, the Enterprise I contacted did not have a truck and GMC told me that the dealership could not provide a loaner truck. I’ve needed a truck several times this month, which has caused difficulties for me and others. The vehicle has since been inspected and the service department stated the vehicle needed a new engine. This occurred 21 days ago and there is no end in sight. The service department could not tell me an exact date on when the engine would be shipped to their store.
