2020 GMC SIERRA 2500- Green Cove Springs, FL
Well, we ended up having a problem with our transmission in our 2020 truck. I am the wife and I was driving down the highway and all of a sudden the truck started bucking and went down to 35 mph. I was in a middle lane on the highway when this happened which Was very scary! Then I was stranded along side the highway until I could get help. Here we found that our transmission went out already only after four years, which is crazy. Very crazy! We bought this truck because we were told with the weight of this truck and all that it would pull out 42 foot fifth wheel we have. So of course we did use this truck to pull our trailer and now four years later we have been without a truck because we cannot even find a transmission with our transmission code of OMEF. Now today we found a possibility which is going to cost $7000 which is Love Ludacris! We buy a $65,000 truck just for years ago and now had to put $7000 out for a transmission. Is there anything we can do to rectify this situation??

2021 GMC ACADIA- North Myrtle Beach, SC
Electronic dashboard failure. Entire instrument panel randomly shuts off while driving, including speedometer and all gauges. Driver then has to wait for system to reboot itself before it begins working again. This condition is completely random and may not occur for months, or may occur several times within minutes. This is a safety issue due to the driver's inability to monitor speed. It is also possible that other safety systems are being shut down while waiting for the system to reboot. GM has known about this software glitch since 2021, and it affects certain GM vehicle models from 2021-2023. (Refer to GM TSB# 21-NA-054). NHTSA should require a recall for this problem.

2024 GMC CANYON- Burnsville, MN
The valve body on GM's 8 speed transmission is a known fail point for many GM truck owners. I believe the NHTSA should investigate this for the extreme risk of an accident. My truck has been inoperable for a month awaiting a back ordered part. When driven, the truck displays erratic behavior and will downshift and decelerate rapidly and without warning. The risk of being rear-ended is very high.

2024 GMC SIERRA 1500- Mandeville, LA
To Whom It May Concern, This is a brand new 2024 GMC Sierra AT4 Diesel Truck with 4,000 miles. The first incident occurred when I was doing about 5 mph. The truck maintained its speed without my foot on the gas pedal and the cruise control was not on. Then when I tapped the gas pedal, everything return to normal. The second incident was about 2 weeks later in which the same thing happened. The third incident which was about one week later, I was doing about 5 mph and the truck accelerated on its own. I let the truck accelerate to approximately 28 mph. At that point I hit the brakes to stop the vechicle and pulled over. The truck was idling very high so I turned off the engine. All the ignition lighting remained on, but the truck would not restart. Even after removing the keys from the vehicle the ignition lighting remained on. At that point the truck had be towed back to the dealership which is Rainbow Buick, GMC in Covington, Louisiana. I've been told by the Rainbow Service Department that they do not know what's wrong with the truck. It's been sitting there for 10 days now was a dead battery. My salesman who I don't really believe, said he has the exact same truck and it happen to his tuck at 30,000 miles. I file a claim with GMC Customer Support but have yet to hear from them. I'm obviously very disappointed with my new truck, my salesperson, and service department. If there's anything you can do to help please let me know! 2022 GMC SIERRA 2500- Omaha, NE
AC will not run while truck is in idle. I was told by the dealer all GM trucks with the 6.6 gasoline engine this is a standard on them. this is a major safety issue when it becomes 100 F outside.

2022 GMC SIERRA 1500- Wells, ME
On June 8th I started my truck and it made a strange unfamiliar noise before starting. I thought it was bizarre. Shortly after I stopped in traffic and my truck stalled out. It stayed on but when I went to give it gas I didn’t move. So I restarted the engine and the same strange noise was made. Along with the noise I smelled something funny so I pulled into a gas station. Little did I know my truck was on fire. I got the vehicle away from the gas pumps and within 5 minutes the whole truck was on fire. Before this fire I had brought the vehicle in for service due to a check engine light multiple times the codes will be listed below. I also had an interlock device installed in the truck at the time.
