2019 GMC SIERRA 2500- Ringtown, PA
Vehicle was last driven on June 23 2024 and parked in my driveway. On the evening of June 29 2024 my horn was blowing in my truck at around 10:30. While I was walking out to the vehicle it was in flames. The fire started from what I understand on the driver’s side behind the dash. Luckily no one was in the vehicle when it happened.

2019 GMC TERRAIN- Madera, CA
My daughter was driving her 2019 GMC Terrain at 15 - 20mph when she suddenly lost her brakes. Fortunately she had just turned into a new housing development where the road ended into an empty field. This could have been catastrophic for her & other citizens on the road. The following morning she would have been heading to work on a highway with heavy traffic with a posted speed limit of 65mph. We towed the vehicle home & after some investigating I found a vacuum pump failure. This vacuum pump broke apart internally sending chunks & shards of metal into her valve train. This issue is mentioned several times in Terrain forums & someone needs to address this issue before it becomes a fatality.

2016 GMC CANYON- Austin, TX
Over the past 6 months, when driving, the power steering stops working and I get a dash light that comes on that talks about stabilitrac. If I shut my car off and restart, it works again, but it is random when it might occur. It's very scary, because, if I were not strong with great reaction time...I might be dead.

2022 GMC SIERRA 1500- Afton, MI
Just got off the highway was at stop sign on exit ramp and it just died. No warnings no lights no indication that something was about to happen. No neutral so couldn’t even push it out of the way of traffic. Had it towed to shop for diagnostic. Possible lifter problem. $600. Dealership towed it to their shop. Engine tear down, lifters replaced. Gmc to pay 30%, dealership paying $1000, me $1300. Dealership started truck and the crank bearing spun. Now needs new engine, which are on back order. Cost ??? How long before engine available??? This is a known problem by the dealerships, GM & repair shops. Had we still been on the highway when this occurred doing 75mph we could have been killed.

2024 GMC CANYON- Lenexa, KS
The headlights randomly flicker on and off while driving at night. This not only causes a distraction while i'm driving but is also affecting other drivers. Drivers in the other lane keep mistaking the flicker as me turning on my bright lights which is leading other driver to retaliate and either put on their bright lights or flash their brights at me. I also had one instance where a car I was following thought I was continually flashing my head lights at him and he proceeded to get behind me and tailgate me with his bright lights on. Due to the frequency of the issue and the unknown cause I fear that at some point the lights will go out completely while driving at night. The truck has been taken to the dealer an they state they are unable to reproduce however there is an only forum where multiple owners are reporting the same issue. I also posted a video to youtube demonstrating the issue [XXX] ). Here is a link to the forum where other owners are discussing the issue [XXX] ). Vehicle has only been inspected by the Dealership. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the failure. The vehicle is new and the issue has been present since the truck was new. 2017 GMC ACADIA- Barboursville, WV
In the last couple of weeks my car has started to alert me to “shift into park” when I have already put the car in park. Sometimes it will resolve on its own or I will have to turn it back on and put in drive then back in park to fix. I researched this and found it is a recall for my year of car but did not show when I entered VIN.

2021 GMC ACADIA- Melvin Village, NH
I have 43,000 miles on my car and I do not by any means drive hard or really ever go over 50 MPH and I am being told that my rear tow links are loose and need to be replaced. I have NEVER had to replace those in any vehicle I have ever owned especially a 2021 vehicle with under 50k miles on it. I have read that there is a recall on the 2022 Acadia's for this exact issue so I can only assume it is the same issue happening on the 2021's as well.
