2022 KEYSTONE COUGAR- Louisburg, KS
Vehicle is a 2022 Keystone Cougar 29RLI recreational vehicle. Safety issue is with the Solara awnings manufactured by Lippert. Awning fabric appeared to only be glued to the poly cord that secures it to the trailer. While we were setup, the awning roller fell away from the trailer. If we had been in transit, it could have hit a car in an adjacent lane, causing an accident. The rear awning is also failing but is still mostly in tact.

2021 KEYSTONE- Anchorage, AK
While on a curvy mountain downgrade outside of St Mary, MT the trailer breaks stopped working and the truck I’m driving showed the trailer breaks disconnected. Upon inspection of the breaks the wiring was completely disconnected. This happened 2-3 weeks later to a different tire. Multiple owners of Keystone Arcadia have reported the same and other related trailer break issues. Also reported incident #11470954 for the subsequent issue that happened 2-3 weeks after this.

2021 KEYSTONE ARCADIA- Anchorage, AK
The trailer break wiring on the left front trailer tire came out of a connector while on a mountain downgrade southbound I-24 outside of Chattanooga. This happened 2-3 weeks prior while on a mountain downgrade outside of St. Mary, MT to the left rear trailer tire. Multiple Keystone Arcadia owners in an Arcadia FaceBook group have reported the same (as well as other) issues with their trailer breaks. Had we not had our truck tell us the trailer wiring was disconnected, we could have been killed—or killed someone else. I have photo and video evidence showing the issue and posted about this issue in the Arcadia Facebook group and the manufacturer is aware of the issues with the trailer breaks. There were no warning signs ahead of time that this would happen to the tire as inspection this morning showed the wiring intact. The Keystone is a new product that was released in 2021 and has been plagued with problems since it’s release.

2021 KEYSTONE CARBON- Garden City, KS
This involves our 2021 Keyston Carbon 403 RV (VIN: [XXX]. We purchased the vehicle in February 2021. Travelled about 1000 miles. Took it to Camping World in Wichita from our home for warranty work (not involving the problem) in October 2021; picked it up in March 2022 and drove home. Then on May 13, 2022 we drove the RV up to a nearby lake in Scott City, KS about 45-miles from home. We noticed that the passenger very rear wet bolt was missing from the rear of the very rear leaf spring and that the bracket was twisted and the tire was pushing into the middle tire causing a hazard. We spoke with three different RV technicians and they all said the only way this would happen with that many miles is if the bolt was not tight at the factory. This entire incident could have caused a fire with the tires, a blow out from the tires. An entire axle pushing into the other tires/axles and causing an accident. When pulled into the campsite the only accident was the rear axle was pushed into the middle axle on the passenger side tire. Getting no where with Keystone as they said it was out of warrant. I have an extended warranty but more worried about the safety of this RV. It would not let me put the speeds in the box below. The speeds on the highway was 65 mph and that was the top speed we were travelling on down to 20 mph in the camp site. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
