Lost 2 of these tires due to blow outs. Tires were properly inflated and properly taken care of. Less than 3000 miles on them. This is a severe issue affecting RV tires. RV manufacturers want to pawn customers off on tire manufacturers. These tires explode for no reason and leave people stranded on the side of the road. They also explode with such force that rubber fragments fly all over the highways leaving many motorists and pedestrians at risk. These are extremely dangerous and leaving motorists and passerby’s at extreme risk. My photo is the first. I have attached mine and screen shots of others having the same issues.

The contact owns a 2021 Keystone Nexus Viper. The contact stated that while hauling the water and gas tank, the weight caused the suspension and the frame to bend since the Gross Vehicle Weight rating was incorrect. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with nothing needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle performed as designed. The contact received no further assistance. The failure mileage was 500.

defect of metal frame corrosion, welds cracking, and bolts breaking off crossmembers causing large metal to come off while going down the highway. Springs mounts on frame rail showing heavy corrosion which would cause the axle to shift and rv. Caused by poor quality materials and craftsmanship. Manufacturer was contacted and declined to replace or repair

The contact owns a 2021 Ram 2500 used for hauling a 2021 Keystone Montana 295 RL. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V368000 (Equipment) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact was informed that the technician would be available in a month and a half to perform the recall repair. The RV was not repaired. The contact had not experienced a failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however no further assistance was taken. Parts Distribution Disconnect.

The contact owns a 2019 Keystone Cougar. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the draining tank hose fractured and detached from the RV on the passenger side. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the local dealer nor the independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.

We took our 2020 Montana High Country 5th wheel to the dealer for routine preventative maintenance. When they were repacking the bearings, they found 3 of the 4 seals were blown and there was grease on the backing plates and pads. This 5th wheel had less than 1700 miles on it. The technician said there was no way this should have happened with less than 1700 miles. Repacking is recommended every 12,000 miles according to Keystone. We bought it in August 2019; this maintenance was done in Mar 2021. I contacted Keystone and they denied reimbursement for the repair and parts. They said it wasn't deemed a warranty issue and said may have been done by whoever overpacked them. This was the first time we had them repacked. No one had touched the wheels (except for us adding air to the tires) since we owned the 5th wheel. This had to have been done at the factory whether it was at the Keystone factory or at the chassis factory (possibly Lippert?). If we had been driving up and down mountains, we could have lost breaking or they could have caught on fire. I believe this is a safety issue and hopefully there is no others out there like ours. I thank God we took it in for the routine maintenance. Photos were provided by repair technician at Walnut Ridge RV in New Castle IN. I just found out I should report this, so this is why it wasn't reported in March.

The contact stated while driving 65 mph, the window glass panel detached causing one of the driver side windows to collapse didn't realize it was gone until vehicle was pulled over to the road side. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed with the window needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was relating the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 20V351000 (Visibility). The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and informed the contact that the RV was not included in the recall but would replace the window. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2016 Keystone Summerland RV. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the passenger’s side rear tire experienced a blowout. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a local dealer nor an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact changed the tire and the vehicle was repaired. The contact was relating the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 16V322000 (Tires). The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2020 Keystone Montana High Country. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the antenna flew off the camper without warning. Upon inspection, the contact's husband noticed wiring hanging off the camper. Upon further inspection, he saw that the antenna was missing from the mounting base. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and they informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V398000 (EQUIPMENT). The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

THIRD OF THREE CONSECUTIVE DAY TIRE BLOW OUTS WITH TRIANGLE TR 653 TIRES. TIRE SIZE 235/80R16. PURCHASED 6/3/2019. NO INJURIES. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO 5TH WHEEL CAMPER. OWNER CAN ATTEST TO CORRECT TIRE INFLATION AND CAMPER GVWR NOT EXCEEDED VERIFIED BY CAT CERTIFIED SCALE DONE ON SAME DAY OF TRAVEL. TRAVELING ON INTERSTATE I287 NOT EXCEEDING 70 MPH ON STRAIGHT LINE DRIVING.
