2019 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Franklin , WI
Backup camera became inoperable after a car wash and water leaked into the electrical components. This is already a current issue and many models have been recalled, but my year, 2019 has not been included. I can no longer view anything while backing up the video and the dash continues to flash Camera System Default. Please consider adding 2019 Evoques to the existing recall.

2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER- SAN ANTONIO, TX
I own a 2020 Land Rover Defender and have experienced a failure of the LED halo ring/daytime running light within the headlight assembly. The LED ring stopped functioning even though the headlight assembly has not been damaged, modified, or involved in any accident. This failure affects the vehicle's visibility and appearance and may create a safety concern because the daytime running light is no longer operating as intended. I contacted the dealership regarding the issue, but I was informed that the repair is not covered under warranty, despite similar LED halo and DRL failures being reported by other Defender owners. I am requesting that this issue be investigated, as it appears to be a defect in the headlight assembly rather than normal wear and tear.

2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER- Germantown, MD
Daytime running lights on my car gave out. This has been an issue with 2020+ Defenders as the LED module burns out overtime due to a lack of sufficient cooling. Land Rover quoted over 5000 dollars for headlight replacements just for a simple LED bulb. This needs to be addressed.

2019 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Wayne, NJ
The contact owns a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH, there was a message of a "Module Failure" displayed, and the master warning light was illuminated before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to the residence and then to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the DC converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the check engine warning light illuminated approximately 20 minutes after restarting the vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact believed that the failure was associated with damages from the original failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.

2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Aubrey, TX
My son’s 2016 Range Rover Evogue (SE Premium Sport Utility 4D) caught fire while driving yesterday (6/22). The car was in great shape and had not had any auto work done recently. The vehicle experienced a loud pop while driving, immediately lost electrical power, steering assist, and brake assist, and then caught fire in the engine compartment. The car was a total loss. I do not see any recalls but would like this investigated in case this leads to a recall. I have asked my insurance company not to salvage the car in case investigations or reports are needed to determine the cause.

1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The vehicle experienced repeated electrical, ignition, and safety-system malfunctions, including failure to start, intermittent power loss, stalling, battery failure, and irregular electronic behavior. Multiple components appeared affected, including the ignition system, battery/charging system, electrical wiring, and onboard diagnostic/electronic control systems. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request, and police reports and repair documentation exist confirming ongoing issues. --- 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle became unreliable and unsafe to operate, with unpredictable starting, stalling, and electrical failures that could occur at any time. These defects created a risk of: • Being stranded in unsafe locations • Sudden loss of power while driving • Inability to start the vehicle during emergencies • Exposure to repeated dangerous situations for both myself and my child The ongoing defects directly compromised the vehicle’s safety and my ability to use it for normal transportation. --- 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. The issues were repeatedly reported and observed during multiple repair attempts. Despite this, the dealership and service centers failed to correct the defects, and the problems continued after each visit. --- 4. Safety Complaint Regarding Engine Oil Leak – Same Defect as Recall N763 (23V044000) Vehicle: 2019 Range Rover Sport | VIN: [XXX] Description of Problem: My vehicle is experiencing an oil leak from the engine area. Upon inspection by my mechanic/dealer, the failure was diagnosed as a blocked or improperly machined oil channel in the engine cam carrier, which is causing oil to leak externally. This is the exact component and failure mode described in Land Rover Safety Recall N763 (NHTSA Campaign 23V044000), which addresses a blocked engine cam carrier oil channel that can lead to an oil leak. Despite having the identical part failure on my vehicle, my VIN is not listed under the current recall scope. Safety Concern: I am extremely concerned about the fire risk. An oil leak in the presence of hot engine components or an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. I have already observed oil spots where I park and occasionally smell burning oil while driving. I believe the recall population should be expanded to include my vehicle, as the defect clearly exists outside the current VIN range. Actions Taken: I contacted a Land Rover dealer, but they refused to cover the repair because my VIN is not on the active recall list. Safety Complaint Regarding Coolant Leak – Same Defect as Recall N785 Vehicle: 2019 Range Rover Sport | VIN: [XXX] Description of Problem: My vehicle is experiencing a persistent and significant coolant loss. Upon inspection by my mechanic/dealer, the failure was diagnosed as a leaking coolant pipe/elbow connected to the turbocharger system. This is the exact component and failure mode described in Land Rover Safety Recall N785, which addresses a coolant elbow rupture that can leak fluid onto hot engine components and cause an engine fire. Despite having the identical part failure on my vehicle, my VIN is not listed under the current recall scope. Safety Concern: I am extremely concerned about the fire risk and the potential for sudden engine overheating while driving at highway speeds. I have already had to repeatedly refill the coolant just to operate the vehicle safely. I believe the recall population should be expanded to include my vehicle, as the defect clearly exists outside the current VIN range. Actions Taken: I contacted a Land Rover dealer, but they refused to cover the repair because my VIN is not on the active recall list.
