We have taken our vehicle, for this unusual drivers side, bottom door - interior beam that has sucked in like a dent and it's stainless steal beam that shouldn't do this, The Lexus dealership has no idea for the cause and we are concern if we have an accident then if this side door beam will be safe to protect the driver ? There has been no accident to this Lexus we own, we have taken this issue to several dealership but no one is saying on writing that we are safe inside this vehicle if the beam bottom Interior metal is sucking in safe or not if an actual accident side door impact happens ? No one still inside the Lexus Dealership or the Lexus Headquarters Consumer Care has been able to clearly made us understand what has caused this sinking steel beam to suck in like a dent ? 2005 LEXUS IS- Arcadia, CA
As I prepared to make a right turn onto a busy street, I suddenly could not brake normally. Instead, I was unable to press the brake down as a balloon like feeling pushed it back up, but it also did not return all the way up to its normal position. The result was I was moving with no way to slow down the car. Fortunately, I was not moving at a high speed and immediately shifted into park. I was fortunate this did not occur while I was at full speed. The brake lights did turn on at the time of the issue. An independent mechanic suspects a brake booster failure. Just a month before, another mechanic performed routine maintenance and found no signs of this issue. Just 6 months before, I purchased the vehicle used with no mention of this sort of past issue.

The paint recall needs to be extended to earlier year models as it is affecting these vehicles as well. I am an estimator from a repair facility. 2007 LEXUS LS- Douglasville , GA
Lexus whom parent company is Toyota manufactured the 2007 Lexus LS 460. This Lexus was manufactured with a dangerous part which is the Brake Actuator. This part fails leaving the vehicle unable to move. Which is very dangerous to consumers as this can happen anywhere at anytime. Lexus acknowledges this mistake and fixed some vehicles when in fact a recall should have been placed to fix them all. This was unfair as many consumers are purchasing these vehicles not knowing of this issue (even when Lexus Toyota did).
