The contact owned a 2024 Lexus RX 350H. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and running, it unexpectedly turned off with the electronic malfunction error message displayed. The vehicle could not able to be restarted, and the contact was unable exit the vehicle due to the failure of the power locks. Roadside Assistance assisted with removing the contact from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with battery failure. The contact was informed that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and remained with the dealer. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer attempted to return the vehicle back to the residence. The contact was concerned about the issues with the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,624.

The contact owned a 2023 Lexus RX 350. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, it suddenly accelerated without warning. While driving in a parking lot, the vehicle again surged forward approximately 20 feet. The contact was able to swerve to avoid striking a pedestrian. The vehicle became uncontrollable, and the brakes were inoperable. The vehicle ultimately crashed into a dumpster fence, which fell onto the vehicle. The contact sustained injuries to her mouth, including cuts to the inside and outside of her mouth, and medical attention was provided by a plastic surgeon. The fire department responded to the scene. The air bags did not deploy during the crash. There was no fire, and a police report was not filed. The fire department was on the scene. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The insurance company later deemed the vehicle a total loss. The manufacturer has not been notified. The failure occurred at approximately 18,000 miles.

I was stopped at a red light with brake on, my vehicle leaped forward on its own three times, with the brake on, the force was so strong I thought someone rear-ended me. No warning lights, the acceleration was load.

Basically, the instrument cluster lighting is very, very poor. Very difficult to read when driving, especially in a day break. You must turn off your daylight running lights to make it a little bit brighter. This is a problem.

[XXX] ’s my wife we’re driving in Sacramento.The vehicle was stopped at a traffic signal waiting for the light to change. Suddenly, without warning the vehicle started violently shuddering/shaking, scaring us completely. The shaking stopped when my wife put into park. But for those few seconds it was extremely scary. This incident should be investigated by the NHTSA as a repeat of the incident in moving traffic may cause severe property damage, serious injury and possible loss of life. The car has shut down. There was a recall for code p125d which was recalled for my vehicle. I have had the car for less than a year. I don't know if the recall was performed on my vehicle but it is having the recall issue.

I am reporting a recurring electrical and mechanical system failure on a 2024 Lexus RX 350h Luxury. On [XXX], the vehicle suffered a total power loss that rendered the electronic door latches unresponsive to all inputs. Because the occupants were a [XXX] and a [XXX] strapped into car seats, they were physically unable to reach the interior manual overrides. Critically, the mechanical backup key also failed to unlock the vehicle from the exterior, preventing immediate rescue. This created a life-threatening entrapment scenario. The doors only responded after multiple minutes of repeated manual attempts. Once entry was gained, the vehicle would not start and the headlights began blinking rapidly, indicating a total system communication failure. I had to use jumper cables to restore power. This is the second occurrence of this catastrophic failure, documented on Repair Order [XXX] at Lexus of Westminster. Car has been stalling, jerking and revving of the engine! Transmission service was done around 100,000 miles, about 30000 miles later, car was taken back to dealer and they were unable diagnose a problem. Issue got worse until it became undriveable. Car towed back to dealership only to be told I need a transmission on a pre owned certified car!

I am reporting a potential transmission issue with my 2019 Lexus ES 350. At around 70,000 miles, the vehicle began developing a whining noise at low speeds when the accelerator pedal is depressed. The noise has persisted and appears to be gradually worsening. The symptoms match numerous complaints I have seen from other owners regarding premature failure of the UA80 transmission, particularly the whining sound during low-speed acceleration. This issue began approximately one year ago and raises concerns about a possible widespread defect affecting this transmission model. I want Lexus to repair my vehicle free of charge as it appears to be a manufacturing defect.
