Had to change a tire.. Lug wrench supplied with the car did not fit the lug nuts..

While driving a complete loss of brake incident occurred. The brake pedal got still, and the car would not stop. Luckily, we were close to home and was able to slow down enough to turn around and get home slowly. Upon investigation it was found the coupler (Part that connects camshaft to brake pump) failed causing the brake pump to not work. This situation is extremely dangerous as we had no prior warning to failure. Even the complete loss of brakes did not have any indicator lights during the incident. Considering the operation of the coupler, how could something so small and so important be weak enough to snap internally, causing a complete loss of brakes with no warning.

Complete loss of brakes while driving. thankfully it was very soon after leaving home. Brake pedal was extremely stiff, and the brakes would not work. Upon investigation it was found the camshaft coupler screw broke inside the camshaft and the vacuume pump had failed. This is an extremely dangerous design due to 0 warning lights on dash, and no prior warnings. Just a complete loss of brakes abruptly.

Steering gear for power assistance failed while driving and the steering gear had to be replaced. Car became very difficult to steer. Luckily was not driving at speed and it happened in a parking lot. I live in a mountainous area with lots of curves. Could have easily resulted in an accident. Was able to drive back home slowly as it happened while in my sub-division. Had to have car towed to the nearest dealer for repairs as it was unsafe to drive at speed.

The contact owns a 2011 Lincoln MKX. The contact stated while coming to a stop, the brake pedal became stiff while being depressed. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to a local independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the brake booster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The local dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 104,658.

Power steering control module stop working. Ford is aware of this issue and refusing to classify it as a recall. Vehicle inoperable at 83k miles.

The contact owns a 2020 Lincoln Continental. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the front driver’s side door would not open from the inside. In addition, the rear passenger’s side door would not open from the outside. A dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.

While out of town, the check engine light came on and the car began sputtering. There was a Lincoln dealer a couple miles away so I went there. The scan found code p303 and coolant had intruded in cylinder 3 and the engine needed to be replaced. The Lincoln dealer stated that there was a service bulletin issued about this problem with eco boost 2017 Lincolns.

2.0L ENGINE FAILURE DUE TO COOLANT IN CYLINDER AN ISSUE THAT FORD is aware. I only see after the fact, of all the numerous complaints in the Lincoln forum. Why has this not been recalled, it so sad that us consumers have to deal with a known problem. Please help us!

The contact rented a 2023 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while driving at 65 MPH, the electronic systems became inoperable. The backup camera was inoperable.
