While leaving out my driveway my brakes went straight to the floor before stopping. After I put the car in park and put my foot on the break again it was hard to push the brake pedal. I also hear air coming from the break pedal area. I had no warning and still do not have any warnings. I’ve noticed after reading a lot of reviews this seem to be a common problem and it’s not safe. Mileage 104,000

2019 Lincoln Navigator Dealership delivery 9.14.22 Husband & Daughter drove around the neighborhood. Check engine light comes on suv is overheating. Husband immediately pulls into our driveway fluid is leaking out all over. Plus smoking. This was maybe two hours after it was in our possession. 9.15.22 Ford of Dalton has it towed to their dealership. 9.15.22 Suv was back in our possession. 9.21. Heard a ticking sound from the front of the suv. 9.26.22 Dropped off Suv at Ford of Hixson. 10.1.22 picked up a rental. 10.7.22 picked up suv 12.7.22 Contacted Ford Of Dalton. Hearing the same noise, plus a new clunking sound and movement below my feet on the driver side.They replaced axle, barrings. No warning other than the sound. 12.12. 22 Suv in Ford of Dalton possession. 1.12.23 Suv back in our possession. 1.13.23 hearing a sound when turning left. No warning 1.13.23 drove off a mountain where we live to take my daughter to her basketball game. Approximately 7:10 p.m my daughter and I heard a loud sound. The suv pulled us left into oncoming traffic! My suv steering wheel lost control started smoking and smelt like burning rubber!! This was the most terrifying experience in my life!! We are so lucky to be alive! If this happened anywhere else the outcome could have been very different. Luckily we were just leaving her basketball game and we’re on a side street.This suv was supposed to be our primary vehicle. It is extremely unreliable and unsafe to drive. After last nights horrible experience there is no way we will take this vehicle back. It’s very unsafe to drive. ** no warnings!

Vehicle is AWD, part is Transfer Case/Power Transfer Unit. Many issues from customers online and what was marketed as a lifetime part was changed to maintenance at 30,000 miles since the amount of gear oil is minuscule and the heat this part has to contend with is extreme due to location. Car becomes undriveable very quickly and is very dangerous. A leak began and due to small amount of oil it starts to grind, jerk and tires won’t move very rapidly. Extremely dangerous! Instead of a change it should be a recall. This part is also about $1600 alone which means Ford is making money on this to top it off. The mechanic said it was starting to melt the parts and could have been a fire if I didn’t drive it right over.

The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln MKS. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the steering wheel became difficult to turn while attempting to reverse the vehicle. The contact stated that the power steering assist warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V340000 (Steering) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 94,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that the battery warning light and check engine warning light were illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, where the vehicle was repaired; however, while driving 10 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.

I was Driving in my 2010 Lincoln MKX January 16,2023 and the front sunroof exploded i hear a loud sound but when I looked up the front sunroof shattered, it all most caused me to have a car accident but I maintain and pull over to the side road. I really think that the manufacture done properly on the sunroof I was not using the sunroof because it’s cold outside !

on or about dec 24, 2022 while driving my brakes would not engage the pedal went to the floodboard. Mechanic inspection of my vehicle found that the control assy -ABS Hydraulics had failed . This was the 3rd incident the mechanic had found in the last month. Ford motor has acknowledged the problem but no parts are available. Over 900 customers are waiting for parts since the beginning of December 2022 (that we know of). There is no estimate time of when this part will be available and many vehicles to include mine are on the road with improperly working brakes.

brake line is leaking, brakes became almost completely unresponsive while driving and was nearly in a serious accident because of it

Transmission will randomly stop shifting or jolt. Poses a safety concern when you have to accelerate or slow down to merge, switch lanes, cross an intersection, etc. This is a common problem with this year and model that everyone is complaining about.

The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln Continental. The contact stated that while reversing, the backup camera image was very distorted, foggy, and cloudy. The contact later received notification of the NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 25,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
