When accelerating the has a sudden loss of power. I get a message to pull off the.road. After turning offf the engine and restarting car begins to function properly again.

The leather on the dash board shrunk and the glue failed allowing the leather to buckel and block the passenger air bag top of the dash board. Porsche knows if this and refused to repair except at my costof $9,000. Also the flap of rhe dash block visibility forward

The contact owns a 2023 Porsche Taycan. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH in stop-and-go traffic a second vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of a third vehicle. The contact stated that during the incident the braking system had malfunctioned and the vehicle did not immediately stop while pressing the brake pedal causing the rear end collision. No injuries were reported. A police report was taken at the scene. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000.

My Porsche Service Center advised that the front passenger airbag sensor of my 2016 Porsche Macan Turbo is not functioning properly. The identified fault was: Airbag (variant 002) B12251B "Seat occupancy sensor on passenger side (BOSE) - resistance too high" I have been advised that NHTSA has issued two recalls on this problem. My Porsche Service Center has advised that the originally installed passenger side occupancy sensor was replaced pursuant to one of the recalls. Despite the same problem affecting the presently installed passenger side occupancy sensor, my Porsche Service Center has advised that it is not subject to a recall. It has proposed repairing the sensor at a cost to me of $3,124.23. I believe that the repair should be conducted under the terms of the prior recalls, since the presently installed passenger side occupancy sensor is clearly defective.

The Porsche EV Charger started an electrical fire in the wall of my garage while charging on May 21st 2024. The charger melted as a result. On the way to take my car to the dealership the dash became very hot to the touch as well. Fast forward to today, my car is still at the dealership. They have contacted me and asked me to pick it up and return my loaner car. They cannot however provide me with a new charger for my car. Porsche has sent out new chargers as part of this recall but they don't have the software in place so the chargers are useless right now. Porsche will give $500 toward the purchase of a 3rd party charger but they told me that they will not accept any responsibility if the third party charger damages my vehicle in any way and they acknowledge that using the suggested 3rd party charger may void my vehicle warranty. They refuse to provide me with a loaner car until my car can safely be charged with a Porsche charger that wouldn't void my current warranty.

Porsche dashboard leather shrunk and pealing out. Vehicle will not deploy the airbags if in accident. It needs to be replaced. It is a common issue. It is a safety hazard.

Dealership is selling vehicle without disclosing recall information or correcting.

Remote lock using a phone app locks the door while the trunk is open. This is considered a health and safety concern as individuals assume the vehicle is locked and secured while the vehicle is exposed to theft, misuse, or even the safety of passenger

the rear view (and front and side) cameras work intermittently. This makes parking very difficult and when backing out of the driveway you cannot see if there is an object in the vehicle's path. Issue started several months ago and has been getting progressively worse (more frequent). Have noted that other owners have same issue reported on various forums.

While the vehicle was charging, the protective sheath near the power outlet of the charging cable had possible electrical or fire damage. No warning lights were illuminated. Upon turning off the power and unplugging the outlet, it was determined that the plastic near the plug melted and caused the power to short. I have been unsuccessful getting the manufacturer to resolve the issue. A recall under APB6 was issued but did not include model year 2018 which uses the same cable that is impacted with the recall.
