2019 PORSCHE CAYENNE- West Bloomfield, MI
2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo (EA825 4.0L V8, VIN [XXX]). Vacuum-actuated water pump seal failure caused coolant infiltration of the vacuum system on two separate occasions during the CPO warranty period. The vacuum system on this engine supplies the brake servo (brake booster) — a safety-critical connection documented in Porsche and Audi's own engineering literature for this engine (NHTSA document MC-XXX). First failure: XXX (92,916 miles, RO XXX). Towed in overheating. Technician documented coolant infiltrating vacuum system. Coolant pump replaced. Vacuum lines not inspected or replaced. Vacuum pump not inspected or replaced. PCNA's own ATI 2235.1 (NHTSA MC-XXX) required vacuum line inspection — not performed. Second failure: October 3, 2025 (103,904 miles, RO 207205). Coolant documented at timing chain cover. Coolant pump replaced. Change-over valve not replaced — required unconditionally by ATI 2235.1. Vacuum lines not inspected or replaced. No PQIS fault code logged — required by PCNA TSB 2307 (NHTSA MC-XXX). No oil analysis performed. No timing chain cavity inspection. Service visit performed one month before CPO expiration. Third visit: XXX (103,988 miles, RO XXX). Cracked breather hose found 84 miles after second service. Vacuum system still unremediated. Current failure: March 2026. Severe valvetrain noise on cylinder bank 2. Engine-out diagnosis required. Estimate $13,286.57. Vehicle currently at Porsche Novi/Farmington Hills. PCNA denied coverage June 25, 2026 without referencing a single technical bulletin, repair order, or published protocol from the documented record. The brake servo vacuum supply connection — documented in PCNA and Audi's own engineering literature — makes this a safety matter. 2020 PORSCHE CAYENNE- SALINAS, CA
My 2020 Porsche Cayenne has experienced leather dashboard delamination, with the leather separating, shrinking, and lifting from the dashboard substrate on both the driver and passenger sides. The delamination extends across the upper dashboard, including areas adjacent to the passenger airbag deployment zone. I am concerned that loose or detached dashboard material could interfere with, delay, or alter the proper deployment of the passenger airbag during a collision, increasing the risk of injury. The continued deterioration also raises concerns about the integrity of the dashboard structure over time. Porsche inspected the vehicle and determined that the repair requires replacement of the entire dashboard assembly at an estimated cost of approximately $8,000 to $10,000. This indicates the condition is not a cosmetic issue but requires replacement of a major dashboard component. I have identified numerous reports from other Porsche owners describing the same leather dashboard delamination on late model Cayenne vehicles, suggesting this is a recurring manufacturing defect rather than an isolated occurrence. Porsche is part of the Volkswagen Group. Audi, another Volkswagen Group brand, issued Technical Service Bulletin 2071698/1 (NHTSA TSB MC-10245529-0001) addressing leather dashboard delamination caused by adhesive failure. The bulletin describes bubbling, wrinkling, loose leather, and delamination and instructs dealers to replace the dashboard. Audi also issued a limited warranty extension for affected vehicles. While Audi's bulletin does not apply to Porsche vehicles, it demonstrates that Volkswagen Group has recognized this type of dashboard adhesive failure. I request that NHTSA investigate whether Porsche Cayenne dashboard delamination constitutes a safety defect with the potential to affect passenger airbag deployment and occupant protection.

2020 PORSCHE TAYCAN- Arlington, MA
I own a 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S (in service Nov 2, 2020) with a performance+ HV battery. I am currently facing a third round of module replacements. The service chronology and detail is set forth in the attached e-mail I sent to Porsche and the attached service reports. The safety concern I have is that when the defective modules fail, the vehicle suddenly becomes inoperable. The last failure incident in April 2026 resulted in the vehicle blocking in two other vehicles until it could be removed on a flatbed. I simply do not feel safe driving a vehicle that could shut down whenever the next module failure happens. There are 33 modules in the HV battery. 15 have been replaced already and it is clearly an ongoing issue as the vehicle is currently in service for a third round of module replacement after the vehicle shut down only 4 months and less than 2,000 driving miles after the previous module replacement. As a result of my increasing safety concerns, I requested Porsche replace the entire obviously defective HV battery. As set forth in the attached response, it refused to do so, stating that the "path forward remains continued diagnosis and repair in accordance with Porsche’s technical guidelines." My belief, and I know I am not the only one based on my review of Taycan message boards, is that Porsche is slow playing how it addresses what is a clear defect in many HV batteries to get to the end of the 8-year battery warranty by doing periodic piecemeal module replacements and then taking the position that post-warranty module issues are an "aging" problem for which Porsche is not responsible.

2025 PORSCHE MACAN- Newtown, PA
Yesterday, I viewed photos of a Macan EV that was significantly damaged when the hood flew open while the vehicle was in motion. This caused me to investigate the safety of my vehicle. I have found that there is no secondary "mechanical only" safety latch on the hood of this newly designed car. This means a single button push on the key fob, or inside the vehicle's control panel will rapidly eject the frunk open, with no human physical intervention with a safety latch. While a car's software is programmed to prohibit hood opening while the car is in motion, a software glitch/fail could still cause unplanned opening. As I understand CFR 571.113--Standard 113 Hood Latch Systems, the lack of a "mechanical only" secondary latch requiring human intervention to open--is not consistent with the intent of Section 113.

2020 PORSCHE TAYCAN- New Haven, CT
While driving my Porsche Taycan through a high-speed intersection, the vehicle suddenly displayed battery and chassis system error messages instructing me to pull over immediately. Before I could safely move the vehicle to the side of the road, it completely lost propulsion, speed control, and steering capability, causing the vehicle to abruptly slow to 0 mph in active traffic and leaving me stranded in the middle of the roadway. This created an immediate safety hazard, as approaching vehicles nearly collided with my car because it effectively performed an unexpected emergency stop without warning. Approximately one month earlier, the vehicle experienced the exact same failure while parked, displaying battery and chassis errors and losing power and steering functionality. The vehicle was towed to an authorized Porsche dealership, where it remained for approximately one month; however, the dealer was unable to diagnose the problem and returned the vehicle to me, stating that no fault could be found. Just two days after the vehicle was returned, the identical failure occurred again while I was driving. After restarting the vehicle multiple times at the roadside, I was eventually able to move it to a safer location, where it failed again shortly thereafter. The vehicle is currently at the Porsche dealership and is available for inspection. The dealership has indicated that the issue may be related to the high-voltage battery but has not yet identified the root cause or completed repairs. The only prior warning of this defect was the nearly identical battery and chassis system failure that occurred approximately one month before this incident.

2020 PORSCHE TAYCAN- cincinnati, OH
I have had two delaminations of my tires, one in August 2023, and one just this week - June 2026. Pictures are attached. Both tires had more than 50% tread left, and the tread was delaminating from the sidewall. MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S Max Performance Summer Tires in 285/40ZR22

2021 PORSCHE MACAN- SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, GA
Water intrusion into the rear of the vehicle flooded due to a manufacturers defect. this area houses the battery and other electrical wiring. The water created a potential electrocution and short of much of the wiring, but the rust contaminated the air quality in the vehicle. Evidence of this corrosion shows persistence for more than a couple of years and the car was inspected twice by the dealer over this time, the most recent a year ago. Since then, I have been diagnosed with several respiratory ailment s along with a lymphoma diagnosis. the cost of the repairs is $7500 and I appealed to the dealer who is repairing the car, the dealer where I purchased the car and Porsche USA corp. all passed on helping me pay for the repairs. there was a lawsuit settlement in 2025 for this very same issue where they exended the warranties for two more years. However, I never received notice to participate in the law suit.

2017 PORSCHE MACAN- San Antonio, TX
this is in regards to NHTSA TSB #ATI-1907. i had this issue repaired by porsche san antonio for over 1k. the problem came back and porsche is trying to charge me again saying there is a design flaw they are aware of but cannot perform work under warranty. This is very unfair and makes me think that everytime it rains i cant drive my car because ill have to spend another 1k for a rear camera and parking sensor fail. I hope i can get any kind of help or visibility on this problem. It is not only unsafe, but porsche as a brand has such bad customer service and no one wants to help

2019 PORSCHE CAYENNE- Weehawken, NJ
The hybrid cooling system on my 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid repeatedly displayed a red dashboard warning while the vehicle was in motion: "Hybrid coolant level too low / Park vehicle safely / Let vehicle cool down." This warning appeared on multiple occasions at speeds of approximately 22 mph, 38–40 mph, and 47 mph, as documented in timestamped photos and videos taken in November 2025. A separate warning in July 2025 read: "Engine cannot be started / Remove charger plug." The warnings indicate a potential thermal management or hybrid cooling system failure. A moving vehicle being instructed to park and cool down presents a safety risk to the driver and others, particularly if the condition causes sudden power loss or thermal event. The vehicle was serviced at an authorized Porsche dealer in 2025. Despite that service activity, the hybrid coolant warning recurred while driving in November 2025, suggesting the underlying condition was not fully resolved. The issue was reported to the manufacturer (PCNA), who acknowledged it under a case number and offered a service voucher. The selling dealer attributed the concerns to a manufacturer charging-cable campaign. Neither response addressed the recurring in-motion warning or confirmed the hybrid cooling system was repaired. Timestamped photo and video evidence is available showing the dashboard warnings and vehicle speed at time of occurrence. Complete repair orders have been requested but not yet provided. The component may be available for inspection upon request.

2024 PORSCHE MACAN- Greenwich, CT
While driving on a major highway ([XXX]) at over 60 MPH, we had a complete and catastrophic system wide shut down of our vehicle, culminating in our car grinding to a halt. This entire process elapsed over a 15-20 second period. We barely were able to get our vehicle to the "left" shoulder along the median of the highway where we had to sit for over 75 minutes with oncoming traffic racing past us until 911 arrived to tow us. It was a life-threatening situation where we were virtual "sitting ducks" without any means to remove ourselves from harms way. The car was immovable and unresponsive. We tried to restart the car with the assistance of our Porsche Dealer but nothing worked. We had no choice but to pray for our safety. We have completely documented our experience: photos, videos and phone calls with 911. NOTE: your system is not allowing us to upload any of our photos or videos but we would like to provide these to you directly so please reach out to me to let me know how we can share these with you. When the car malfunctioned, it seemed that every alert in the car's computer system flashed in serial fashion - Engine Control Error, P Button Defective, E Sound Error, Lane Assistance Malfunction, Electrical Parking Brake Error. It should be noted that we have had the car for less than two years and have logged a little over 11,000 miles driven. Ultimately, we were towed by flat bed to the nearest Porsche Dealer in White Plains where the car is parked. We left a message for the service department at the Dealer telling them who we are, what happened and to call us before they begin an inspection.
