2020 PORSCHE TAYCAN- San Ramon, CA
My 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S (VIN [XXX]) has a recurring, dangerous brake failure that remains unresolved after multiple dealer repair attempts. At low speed, the automatic emergency braking system activates on its own and begins decelerating the car. As the car slows to roughly 5 mph, the brake pedal drops, braking pressure disappears, and the vehicle keeps rolling forward. Pressing the pedal as hard as I physically can does not bring the car to a stop. On more than 5 occasions I have had to steer around the vehicle in front of me to avoid a collision. The failure is intermittent and unpredictable, which makes it especially hazardous. The problem has existed since early in my ownership. On [XXX] (16,631 miles), Porsche Livermore found multiple brake booster faults and replaced the brake booster assembly, re-bled the brakes, and recoded the PSM control unit (RO [XXX]). The dead-pedal emergency-stop failure continued. I returned on [XXX] (40,904 miles) for the same problem; the dealer recoded the PSM unit and reset the brake pedal value but classified the pedal travel as "normal" (RO [XXX]). I returned again in May 2026 (46,585 miles) reporting that the dead-pedal emergency-stop failure still remained. The dealer could not duplicate it and called it "operating as designed" (RO/Invoice [XXX]). No crash or injury has occurred only because I was able to take evasive action each time. The defect is unresolved and creates a serious risk of a crash, and I am reporting it so it is on the federal safety record. 2026 PORSCHE CAYENNE- Greenville, SC
The emergency braking system light and the adaptive control cruise control is not working in the warning. Lights are on from Dave that I’ve got it from day one January 2026.

2021 PORSCHE CAYENNE- Sugar Land, TX
Vehicle Information: 2021 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid (VIN: [XXX]) Description of Defect: While operating the vehicle, the steering column bolt physically backed out and detached, causing an immediate, complete loss of steering control. This exact mechanical failure mirrors NHTSA Safety Recall 21V-493 (Porsche Campaign AMB4), which addressed loose, under-torqued steering column bolts leaving the factory. My specific VIN was excluded from the narrow initial recall population, proving a factory tracking failure by the manufacturer. The authorized Porsche dealership confirmed the failure stating the bolt backed out due to "vibrations." A vital steering bolt backing out under normal road vibrations on a 2021 luxury vehicle is a severe manufacturing defect and a life-threatening public safety hazard. 2009 PORSCHE CAYENNE- Lincoln, NE
Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2009 Porsche Cayenne. The vehicle was a dealer sale. The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle to O’Reilly's for a diagnostic test, the diagnostic report listed the mileage at 209,000; however, at the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 105,000. The dealer was not notified of the discrepancy, as per the Attorney's advice.

2018 PORSCHE MACAN- Elon, NC
The contact owns a 2018 Porsche Macan. The contact stated that while the contact's wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact's wife noticed an unusual odor in the interior and the exterior of the vehicle. In addition, the contact inspected the vehicle and noticed a fuel leak on the ground underneath the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure was persistent. The contact stated that the vehicle was a fire hazard and unsafe to drive. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V077000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however the VIN was not included. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 44,920.

2025 PORSCHE MACAN- Los Angeles, CA
On XXX, while at a residential complex in [XXX], I got into my 2025 Porsche Cayenne and gently closed the door. Upon closing the door, the rear window spontaneously shattered completely. The conditions at the time were as follows: • Outdoor temperature: approximately 85°F — well within normal operating range • No prior chips, cracks, or visible damage to the glass before the incident • No external impact, projectile, vandalism, or theft attempt of any kind • No vehicles or people were in the immediate area at the time of failure • The only action taken was a normal, gentle closing of the car door This was not a minor crack. The window shattered completely and without warning. Flying glass debris posed a serious safety hazard to myself and anyone nearby. We were fortunate no injuries occurred. 2026 PORSCHE CAYENNE- Cerritos, CA
1. Driving Conditions & Baseline State I was operating my new 2026 Porsche Cayenne (current mileage approx. 717 miles) at highway speeds inside a tunnel near LAX. The vehicle was functioning normally under normal driving conditions until the incident occurred suddenly and without any prior warning signs. 2. Onset of Failure & Dashboard Alerts - While maintaining speed, the vehicle suffered an immediate, simultaneous electronic and mechanical malfunction. The dashboard abruptly displayed an Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) error/failure warning, along with auto start/stop failure. Immediately following this alert, the vehicle experienced a severe, sudden loss of mechanical power and propulsion. 3. Vehicle Behavior & Safety Hazard Pressing the accelerator pedal failed to yield normal engine response or acceleration. The drop in power felt as though the vehicle entered an unprompted "limp mode" or suffered a critical powertrain/software communication failure, severely limiting my ability to maintain highway speeds. Because this occurred inside a highway tunnel, the sudden deceleration presented an immediate and extreme safety hazard, nearly causing a rear-end collision with the traffic behind me. I was forced to navigate the underpowered vehicle out of the active lanes of traffic under highly dangerous conditions. After pulling over to a safe area and cycling the ignition (turning the vehicle off and back on), the mechanical power partially/fully returned, suggesting a transient or software-driven electronic control unit (ECU) fault. The historical error codes should be stored in the vehicle's modules. 4. Post-Incident State The vehicle was presented to McKenna Porsche (Norwalk, CA) the following day for diagnosis of the power loss and ACC failure. Safety Implications & Requested Action This component failure constitutes a critical safety defect. A total or partial loss of propulsion at highway speeds poses an unreasonable risk of severe injury or crash.

2025 PORSCHE MACAN- London , MI
While slowing to a near-complete stop and preparing to shift into Park at a low-speed private property location, the vehicle suddenly and violently accelerated without any driver input. The operator, a [XXX] experienced driver, had no time to react. The vehicle travelled approximately 200-300 meters uncontrolled, narrowly missed a grounds keeper operating a tractor on the paved road, left the paved road, drove over a fallen log and between trees, and stopped autonomously just before hitting a tree directly ahead. The driver did not brake at any point. The vehicle stopped itself. Physical evidence at the scene shows deep tire marks dug into soft ground consistent with autonomous emergency braking activation directed straight toward the tree. Four witnesses were present including a bystander who nearly was struck by the vehicle. A formal safety case has been opened with the manufacturer's corporate office. Federal safety complaint also filed with Transport Canada. A nearly identical sudden unintended acceleration incident involving a 2023 Porsche Macan while parking is already on record with NHTSA. 2019 PORSCHE MACAN- Dallas, TX
The contact owns a 2019 Porsche MACAN. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed an abnormal loud sound. In addition, the contact stated none of the safety features functioned as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed power control module. The contact was informed that the power control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was a known failure with the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

2025 PORSCHE PANAMERA- Shreveport, LA
The vehicle is new Porsche Certified pre-owned 2025 Porsche Panamera turbo with Porsche active suspension management. Vehicle has 2000 miles on the odometer. The car was at the dealer for an issue related to its online connectivity. As this was worked upon, I was allowed to pick up the car. At that time, I noticed a Chassis error(Image attached). The car's suspension. was inactive and the ride was extremely low and bumpy. A small bump on the road caused me to almost lose control of the car. Some of the safety features were also disabled as this error showed up. The car was not drivable, so I brought the car to the dealership and the service manager told me that this error was noted by them as they were working on the PCM and should be fixable. However, after about 50 days of the vehicle in the dealership( April 9 2026- now), they have been unable to find a resolution to clear this error and I have been without the vehicle. I am being told Porsche Germany and Porsche North America engineering are unable to identify or unable to repair the chassis computer and there are more vehicles in a similar situation around the country. I have called Porsche North America for support or help with explaining the reason why this brand new vehicle has this defect. I have made close to 20 phone calls after countless hours of being on hold and waiting, with 0 calls returned. I got one email back after 40 days saying the local dealership will handle my case and Porsche North America will close my case even though my car was still being repaired. I believe this may be a manufacturing/ design error and may involve several other cars. This needs to be investigated and Porsche needs to issue a recall to address this concern in other similar cars in the country.
