The contact owns a 2016 Porsche Macan. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V131000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The heating system in my 2022 Porsche Taycan stopped working. In addition to it not being able to heat the cabin, I can't defog/defrost the windshield making the car unsafe to drive. I'm told by the Porsche dealer that this is a known issue, and the fix involves ordering a part from Germany with unknown ETA.

No heat in the car and as a result, windows are fogged making it a cold and potentially dangerous drive

The contact owns a 2017 Porsche Macan. The contact stated that the front driver's side headlight failed to illuminate as needed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the front driver's side headlight needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

On December 29, 2022, the heater unit in the car failed. This caused ice to form on the inside of the car, all windows. Winter in Chicago. Dealer said they are aware of other Tacans having this came issue but there are no parts available and could be 4 to 6 weeks for parts. it is now February 15th and still no parts and the car is unsafe to drive as you can not see out of the windows. If you look on the website in Europe there are reported over 800 of these cars with the same issue and now Audi is having the same issue. These cars are unsafer and should be removed from the roads.

I was driving at high speed on the freeway when, suddenly and without warning, the vehicle lost all power. A message reading “Electrical System Error Park Vehicle in a Safe Place”. I was able to glide across five lanes in rush hour traffic to the breakdown lane.

The contact owns a 2016 Porsche Cayenne. The contact stated that moisture was entering the headlights on both sides of the vehicle. Over time, the condensation in the passenger’s side headlight was burned out with a message on the instrument panel. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The dealer gave the contact an estimate without a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was called and informed that they would provide a nominal portion of the repair cost. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000. The contact stated that they took their vehicle to a couple dealerships and mechanics before the issue was diagnosed as a design flaw. Therefore, simply changing the headlights out would not fix the problem.

Vehicle heat all of sudden not working. Thus, unable to operate vehicle due to condensation on windows limiting visibility, in addition to cold cabin air. Car dropped off at Porsche dealer, and they confirmed no part availability to fix this widespread issue with Taycans.

High voltage heater unit stopped working. Unable to defog front windshield leading to dangerous loss of visibility, in addition to unable to heat cabin. I see LOTS of similar reports online. At dealer, awaiting part which will take weeks.

The contact owns a 2004 Porsche 911. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH he heard a loud creaking sound coming from the front-end. The contact stated that he was entering the highway and the sound became louder while speeding to merge. The contact stated that after driving over some slight imperfections in the roadway, the front-end started pulling to the left and right with force. The contact stated that extra effort was needed to keep the vehicle in the lane. The contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. The contact exited the highway and drove the vehicle to his residence. The vehicle had not been taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.
