The vehicle suffered an incident of Sudden Unintended Acceleration while slowly turning right, into a level parking space. Drivers foot was on the brake, but the car suddenly accelerated and surged forward. The car did not stop, even with strong brake pressure, until it hit the curb and almost hit a pedestrian. We called SOS to have Volvo pick up car to be towed to the dealership. I consider this to be a severe liability and unsafe to drive. The XC 60 accident happened on the second day and was towed to dealership the third day. Research documents similar problem happening to other drivers of this make and model. There were no warning lights or messages, and no symptoms prior to this incident.

The side windows in the front and back seats are cloudy. When light hits the windows, visibility is greatly decreased. The company denies this is a defect and refuses to repair the issue. The problem occurs on all XC60 and XC90 models with the Ultra trim package.
