2018 KIA NIRO- Houston, TX
My 2018 Kia Niro had the Hydraulic Clutch Actuator (HCA) replacement in 2024 due to a recall. About two years later, it failed again causing the call to completely stop working creating safety issues for me. The car was towed to the dealership but Kia refused to pay for the fix. I eventually paid for the fix and requested a reimbursement since my vehicle is directly impacted by Safety Recall Campaign SC276 (NHTSA Campaign 23V534000) due to a critical design defect causing fluid leaks and electrical fire hazards. Kia never responded after initial request for escalation on August 4th, then August 14th, then August 21st and finally a voicemail on September 1st. Under federal safety regulations managed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a manufacturer's statutory obligation to permanently resolve a safety-related defect does not expire if a previous, interim campaign remedy fails. The secondary failure at 44,723 miles demonstrates that the initial remedy failed to permanently safeguard the vehicle against the safety hazard. Per Kia's official recall notification, owners who incur expenses to remedy this specific issue have the opportunity to obtain complete reimbursement. Thank you for your prompt attention to restoring safety compliance to my vehicle.

2024 NISSAN ROGUE- Easton, PA
It is 15 September 2026; but back in June time frame 2026 an engine recall was called for my 2024 Nissan Rouge. Dangerous to the point that car would shut down or burst into flame with not warnings WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE ON THE ROAD AND AT ALL SPEEDS - hgwy. Nissans consumer affairs division discussed this in chat rooms with owners of the year vehicles 2023 - 2025? effected that when the engine is replaced YOU MUST ADDRESS AND CHANGE OUT THE TRANSMISSION. The vehicle is built on VCT technology - variable compression technology??. The replacement engine is so robust and apparently stronger than OME - Original Manufacture Equipment that marrying it with the OME transmission in a short period of time the engine would destroy the trans. Today only a few short months later at 5 AM traveling on Rt78 at max speed the trans went into LIMP MODE. Limp mode is Nissan's reference terminology I took it to the dealership where I leased it - and changed out the engine and married the anticipated trans failure - it was only a matter of time - it FAILED, the vehicle lost power, steering failed the car from 71 mph quickly slowed would not go any further it dropped speed so fast it was almost hit from behind by a tractor trailer - Nissan's consumer affairs division full well knows of the combination repair issues and NOW the dealership I brought it to, scanned the truck confirmed my worst nightmare was true that after they replaced the engine on recall AND tried to tip-toe away from a trans replacement the engine destroyed the trans and my wife was in grave danger THEY EXPECT US TO PAY $ 2,200.00 TO REPLACE THE TRANS - THEY ARE REFUSING TO PAY FOR THE REPLACMENT CAUSED BY THEM IGNORING RESPONSIBILITY. WE WANT OUT OF THIS LEASE EXPUNGE THE LEASE AGREEMENT AND STEP BACK FROM DEMANDS OF EXCESSIVE $ FOR HIGH MILAGE TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK AND PUT US INTO A NEW VEHICLE - "LEMON LAW' RECALL NOT RECTIFIED AND LIVES ARE AT RISK - CONTACT ME PLEASE 484 425 0453 ROB MONTY - URGENT!!

2016 FORD F-150- Walton , KY
Powertrain recall stated because the code didn’t show on a SAFETY RECALL that can cause vehicle to shift from 5th to 1st gear while driving per stated recall Ford will not honor because it’s not one of the codes they state but the recall doesn’t specify a code. We had it at the dealership twice and they said they would fix it for $ 1400.00 well we didn’t cause the recall and we should not be responsible for paying. Would just like someone to contact us before my husband or someone else gets hurt in an accident.

2022 FORD MAVERICK HYBRID- Austin, TX
I have already had the cv axles replaced under the extended customer satisfaction program in January 2026, but today while doing a cross country move, the outer boot on the drivers side showed significant grease loss, and the inner boot on the passenger side tore off with a very severe clunk, noise, and shake while braking and accelerating. Thankfully the cv axle did not separate, but a failure could have resulted in a loss of control. This will be going to the dealership tomorrow. No warning lights, messages, or symptoms that I could observe before the 1000 mile trip across yesterday and today.

2022 FORD TRANSIT- Rockford, IL
235/65R16C This vehicle was a rental. During our trip, the right rear/passenger-side rear tire repeatedly lost air pressure, requiring multiple stops to add air. The tire ultimately went completely flat at night while we were traveling on the highway with four young children in the vehicle. We were stranded along the roadway while traffic, including large semi-trucks, passed at highway speeds, creating a serious safety risk to the occupants. After the tire failed, we observed what appeared to be an existing tire plug/repair near the outer shoulder of the tread. Photographs taken during the incident show the location and condition of this area. The tire had been repeatedly losing air before becoming completely flat. We attempted to use the vehicle's spare tire but discovered that the rental vehicle did not contain the tire iron/lug wrench necessary to remove the wheel. Although a spare tire was present, we therefore could not install it and remained stranded. The spare even had a nail and glass in it. During the trip, the vehicle also exhibited abnormal noise/vibration that appeared consistent with a possible wheel or wheel-bearing issue. I cannot independently confirm the mechanical cause. The rental company was notified of these problems. The vehicle was subsequently returned and is no longer in my possession, but it should be available to the rental company for inspection. I have photographs and video documenting the flat tire, the apparent prior tire repair, and the tire's condition, as well as the rental company's pre-rental inspection documentation.

2022 SUBARU OUTBACK- New york, NY
In September 2026, after a jump start, my vehicle's battery emitted a strong sulfur/rotten-egg odor, indicating overheating and overcharging. I was advised to shut it off immediately. The vehicle is now undrivable and parked, and I am concerned it presents a fire risk. This is the latest failure of a chronic electrical defect documented in the dealer's own repair orders since early ownership: •? ?March 16, 2023 (4,985 mi): vehicle needed a jump start. Dealer tested the battery, said it passed, and blamed my driving habits. •? ?May 16, 2023 (5,503 mi): vehicle again needed a boost. Battery failed the dealer's test and was replaced under warranty; dealer cited Subaru bulletin 07-213-22R. •? ?August 4-8, 2025 (15,188 mi): vehicle again needed a boost. Battery failed the dealer's DCA8000 test (low CCA) and was replaced a second time. A dark-current draw test found the Telematics Data Communication Module (DCM) causing a parasitic draw (code B2A0C); the DCM was replaced. When I arrived to collect the vehicle after being told it was repaired, it would not start in the dealer's own shop. Subaru paid for the DCM repair as one-time goodwill while stating it was not covered by warranty. These repair orders understate the frequency: throughout ownership the vehicle needed a jump start roughly 80-90% of the times I used it, even the day after being driven, and I used roadside assistance several times. I believe this matches the known parasitic battery drain defect on 2021-2022 Subaru vehicles (control modules, including the DCM, failing to enter low-power sleep mode), the subject of pending class action litigation (Taylor v. Subaru of America, No. 2:26-cv-4935) and Subaru technical service bulletins. My dealer replaced the implicated module, the problem recurred, and the vehicle has now had an overcharging event that left it undrivable.

2021 TESLA MODEL Y- Kirkland, WA
On or about XXX my Tesla Model Y downloaded FSD version 14 Lite. One day after downloading the software, I used FSD and the new software caused the computer to overheat. This killed the car computer and made FSD, adaptive, cruise control, lane keep assist, reverse camera, and many other functions, including GPS and navigation inoperable. My car’s warranty expired in January of this year and Tesla will not cover the replacement car computer. There are hundreds of other complaints of this issue reported online on [XXX], Reddit, Facebook, etc. In the 2nd quarter Tesla Earnings Call, [XXX] declared that hardware 3 equipped Tesla vehicles would not be able to support autonomous driving with full self driving. He stated every hardware 3 vehicle will need to be updated with a hardware 4 computer and cameras. Since my hardware 3 computer failed, I requested the hardware 4 computer and cameras to be installed, but Tesla denied this service even though [XXX] said it was a requirement. 2023 HONDA CIVIC- Chanute, KS
I have a christmas tree of lights on my dashboard, I cant use my cruise control or lane assist features. I took my car to a Honda dealership to have a diagnostic done and found that the EPB on the left rear brake was bad. I changed it out and had the computer reset to find that the car is still having issues and now I'm being told to change out the ABS wheel speed sensor that connects to the EPB. When looking online this is a commonly known issue with the 2022 and 2023 Civic sport touring and Honda is aware of this and are trying to get out of having to fix it. This is a huge concern for me because I'm currently living in [XXX] right now for work and have to park on an incline and have been told that at any point the parking brake can give out and my car can take off. This is a huge safety issue that could severely hurt someone, Honda needs to take responsibility for their poor build and fix it before someone gets seriously injured. For some of us not parking on a hill isn't an option. Please please please help us get this issue resolved and make them take responsibility of their poor design. Thank You!
