The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that the bracket was making an abnormal rattling noise. There was a hole on the outside of the muffler. The engine light was illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, and the bracket was replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted, but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000. The VIN was not available.

OnStar Super Cruise, while using super cruise the vehicle tried to change lanes with another vehicle in the other lane. I had to fiscally override the super cruise to prevent an accident. This happened on three separate occasions.

The steering wheel does not return to center after turning while driving the car (unlike every other car). It has been reproduced by an independent service center. There are no error codes or warnings. This is a continuous problem that always happens and makes steering the vehicle more difficult.

I had been driving my truck for multiple days, after a knocking sound suddenly started from under the hood. It was evident at any speed that wasn't idle. There were no check engine lights displayed on the dash. The sound was annoying enough that I took it in. According to the dealer technician, the transmission pump "completely detached" and was "rolling around inside the transmission." They found metal fragments in the transmission fluid, and they declared the transmission a total loss. I have no idea how my truck was still driving, but if the transmission really had failed so catastrophically, I was driving a ticking time bomb. What if it decided to completely give out while driving my kids to school as soon as I made a left turn across traffic?

My vehicle started having stuttering/shifting issues back in August 2025, I was advised the vehicle did not need new engine but upgraded oil. I continued to have the issues and have continued to bring back to dealer for constant software updates - cannot duplicate issue meanwhile the stop sale order was issued and I was not advised. The vehicle then experienced very hard jerking- stall- that lead to the dealership putting an AWD IN 2WD calling it a fix! Just got vehicle back again after a complete stall at a stop sign- causing vehicle to roll back and cut back on! Dealer stated the vehicle showed the stall/shutter but could not duplicate on road test. This is a serious safety issue!!

The engine died while in use. We were130 miles from home when the engine started making weird noises and a tapping sound.all the lights on the dash lit up and truck would hardly run.l had a independent car hauler haul the vehicle back home to a local garage. The vehicle has been repaired for $10,919 and paid $800.00 to have it transported.

I was accelerating to onto the freeway to merge and my engine suddenly made a loud noise and my vehicle immediately lost power and the dashboard alert lights began going off to service engine. I was able to get to the edge of the highway and make it to the next exit to slowly make my way back to my office to have my vehicle towed to a garage. Luckily I had not fully merged into traffic when my vehicle suddenly slowed. There was heavy semi-truck traffic which they would not have been able to avoid rear ending me. The garage confirmed that a cylinder blew causing the drastic drop in power and speed. It has since been towed to the dealership to have their service team diagnose the issue after my usual independent mechanic had found the problem.

Transmission stalling, hesitating, affecting engine performance and rpm's. broke down on highway. We replaced the transmission, now it's doing a similar problem and the mechanic says the engine is failing, cylinders issues. I've read up it's happening to many of the same year make and model. I spent 7k on a new transmission. Now a new engine??? ...frustrating! Please help

THE ENGINE HAS EXCESSIVE BLOW BY FROM THE OIL FILLER CAP. HAVING A MISFIRE ON CYLINDER NUMBER 1 AND IDLING ROUGH. THERE ARE SEVERAL THREADS ONLINE CONCERNING THIS ISSUE BEING CAUSED BY WORN PISTONS AND PISTON RINGS.
