    - Parrish, FL

I was driving home after dropping my kids off at school and when I was almost home my dash lit up with the traction control light, check engine light, ABS light, red break light, service ESC message, forward collision system unavailable message and break system failure 62 MPH top speed ( was switching between 43 MPH top speed and 62 MPH top speed ), I went to slow down and I had no brakes at all. The pedal sunk to the floor with zero resistance no matter how many times I pushed it. I live on a dead end road and thank god I had already crossed the major highway before my road because it would have been an incredibly bad accident. I finally got it to switch into neutral to stop and into park where I sat with my foot on the brake in park until someone could come out to me. I called my local dealership whom had it towed to them. My vehicle is a 2021 Tahoe with 23,014 miles at the exact moment this happened. The dealership said it was the master cylinder/brake module which is not covered under the power train warranty I still have. This is a major safety issue and it seems it is not isolated due to a simple google showing reports on other forums of other newer chevy/gms in different models have this same issue with brakes going out while driving.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Express NAV. The motorhome is a 2020 Coachman Freelander. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, during the night and in the rain, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal and jerked violently. The contact jolted violently and was almost thrown off the driver's seat. The contact pulled to the side of the road. Once the vehicle was on the side of the road, the contact noticed white smoke or steam emitting from the rear of the vehicle. The contact was able to continue driving. • 2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 3500
    - AUGUSTA, ME

My steering feels loose and truck doesn't sways and wanders. It wasn't that way when I got it and I only put like 20000 miles on it. It shouldn't be having these issues. Other models 23-24 have a recall for this same issue.

    - orlando fl, FL

I own a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle has developed serious transmission problems that create a safety concern. When the transmission is cold, the vehicle slips between 1st and 2nd gear during acceleration. If I accelerate normally, the transmission slips and then engages with a hard bang. I must accelerate very slowly to avoid harsh engagement. In addition, during deceleration, especially when downshifting into 3rd gear, the transmission makes a hard "thump" or "bang". This unexpected shifting behavior creates a safety risk when entering traffic, making turns, or driving in stop-and-go traffic. The vehicle has been properly maintained, including transmission fluid service at a Chevrolet dealership, but the problem continues and appears to be getting worse. I understand many GM 8-speed transmission owners have reported similar issues. The repair cost quoted by the dealership is between $7,000 and $10,000, which suggests a possible design or manufacturing defect. I am filing this complaint for investigation of a potential safety-related transmission defect. • 2025 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 3500
    - Ontario, NY

This truck was parked on a job site, on a flat parking lot over blacktop, doing a regen for the 5th time in just a few days. The truck had 4,000 miles on it. When it completed the regen, we shut the truck off. Within 15 minutes the truck was fully engulfed in flames. A fire investigator looked at it and determined the fire started in the engine bay, below the master cylinder. He said this was a GM problem. As this truck was a replacement truck, for another broken down truck, we were outside the auto coverage on our insurance. The business property is covering the tool loss, and said it isnt worth going after GM as they make it impossible. I know this isnt the only vehicle this has happened to, and they simply refuse to even answer. I want to file a formal complaint against GM, and want them to cover the loss, the loss of use. This is a safety matter as this could have happened driving down the road and caused loss of life.

I have a 2019 Chevrolet High Country, have always kept it serviced and maintained. Driving down the road it randomly lost power, wouldn't let me (driver) give gas, started shaking and making loud clanking noise from the engine. Was able to pull over to the side of the road, recorded the noise it was making. Called a tow company to get it towed to the nearest Chevrolet Dealer ship and they confirmed that the engine was no longer good. Related problem to the 6.2l motor issues. They are requested for a New motor.
