  • 2013 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500
    - Lexington, NC

Due to General Motors AFM lifter defect and oil consumption issues that have been proven faulty, #4 AFM gave out on us in February of 2026 costing us approximately $5,000 in Engine repairs on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado plus several tow bills and the inconvenience of not having a vehicle for weeks. GM Recently lost a class action lawsuit for this issue that they have failed to fix but the lawsuit didnt pay enough to fix the issues. GM knew about the oil consumption issues and lifter failures with these vehicles since 2007 and didnt do anything. To this day, there are still issues including on new vehicles.

  • 2023 CHEVROLET TAHOE
    - Beckley, WV

Passed a truck in 2023 Chevy Tahoe on a two lane highway and the Tahoe would not accelerate. It switched into neutral and would not run. This was a major safety issue. There was a semi truck behind me that could have run over me and my family. Luckily there was wide open area next to the road that I coast into. Truck was towed to a dealership out of state while we were on vacation.

Shakes horribly bad in the process. I have to turn the car off and sit there waiting for it to calm down and then drive 35mph to get home. Piston problem ive been told. Every time this has happened, ive been on a very busy highway with my 2 kids in the car with me. Please send out a recall! The miles are not high. This started in February 2026.
