2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Independence, LA
The raido screen glitches randomly and wont let you use it. The engine has a bad shudder while driving. When the engine shudders the RPMs go down. It has hard shift most of the time after sitting over night and starting driving in the morning. It has been doing these issues for at least 6 months.

2022 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE- East Hartford, CT
The vehicle started throwing an error stating 'shift to park' after putting the vehicle in park. When attempting to turn the vehicle off it will not allow it, just keeping up the shift to park message on the dash. I am then unable to lock the doors. This could kill my battery as the engine eventually turns off but the lights stay on. Furthermore, leaving the vehicle unlocked and on for some time puts it at risk of being stolen. It does not happen every time I turn the vehicle off. I have tried shifting it back and forth between drive and park and sometimes that corrects the issue. I just got this vehicle about a week ago and it has not yet been diagnosed or seen as this problem just began last night. There were no other issues experienced yet. Googling it, seems to be a common issue with many Traverse owners, stating that it is typically the transmission shift control module. I do plan on following up with the dealership asap.

2014 CHEVROLET MALIBU- Bloomfield, NY
2014 Chevrolet Malibu LS ECO , has a start/stop system that will shut off the engine at a traffic light or stop sign upon reaching a full stop and when the brake pedal is firmly pressed. Upon releasing the brake pedal the engine should immediately restart and driver can proceed. Randomly and intermittently the engine will fail to restart, recently it occurred while in heavy traffic with many traffic lights. Problem not noticeable in rural driving. Have not contacted a dealer, no recall found for my VIN. No Check engine light or MIL is illuminated. Can be unnerving when it happens, people are beeping their horns behind me while I have to shift into park, turn off ignition and restart. Engine restarts normally. 2014 model appears to not have a method of disabling this feature. Car has approximately 111,000 miles on it. Problem first occurred last year 1 or 2 times. Yesterday 2/13 was first time it occurred multiple times in one trip. I have not brought the vehicle to anyone at this point for evaluation. This problem appears In many areas on the internet with other owners of this vehicle type. I am not the first to experience it. What can be done?

I turned my vehicle on and my brakes, ABS, traction control and anti collision lights all came on. Upon research this is a known problem in 2025 and a recall in 2024. It did in fact end up being the master cylinder and brake system that faulted

Safety Complaint – Sudden Oil Loss and Engine Failure – 2014 Chevy Equinox Hello, I am reporting a serious safety issue involving my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox with the 2.4L Ecotec engine. My vehicle began consuming oil at an abnormal rate without any dashboard warnings in early 2025. The oil level would drop dangerously low between regular oil changes, and the problem escalated quickly. I had to carry oil and a funnel at all times to avoid engine damage. Despite proper maintenance, the engine failed and required replacement on March 27, 2025, at a cost of $11,879.28. The replacement engine includes a 3-year or 100,000-mile warranty, but it is the same Ecotec design. Approximately one month after the replacement engine was installed, I experienced another incident requiring service. This occurred despite the engine being brand new and under warranty, raising concerns that the defect may still be present and that the vehicle may remain at risk of sudden failure. This sudden oil loss and subsequent incident created a safety hazard, as the engine could have seized while driving. I am submitting this complaint so NHTSA can track the defect and evaluate whether further investigation or recall expansion is needed.

2021 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN- Fairburn, GA
My vehicle was taken in to shop due to recall recommendation I received in GM app for fuel pump control module . After repair was done my engine begin ticking the same day and failed a week later . I documented the whole thing and filed a claim with GM however the dealership that did the repair are not responding to GM . The dealership is alm Chevorlet south in Jonesboro ,GA this vehicle stalled out while I was on the highway . Please help me this vehicle belongs to my limo fleet and this is detrimental to my business . After multiple attempts to get it diagnosed they kept telling me I had to wait in line for weeks out to get it checked out although the problem arose after the new part installation . Then when I brung it back with failed engine soon after they told me that I had to sign a liability release waiver for them to check out the vehicle stating that the vehicle was high mileage and not their fault . The service manager literally instructed me not to leave my vehicle when I wanted to because it would not speed up the process for it to be seen I brung it back when instructed but it was to late because the engine had already failed . They literally forced me to sign a waiver stating that they wouldn’t diagnose it if i didn’t sign the waiver . These people are committing a fraudulent scam and their are unsafe vehicles on the road that arent being treated properly due to these practices . Please contact the dealership and or GM to take this matter more seriously .

2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE- Taylor, MI
While driving, ABS, traction control, ESC, forward collision, and AWD alerts were indicated by the car. At the time it had 10 months in service and approximately 12,800 miles accumulated. After 17 days at the dealers service department and a direct call to GM the brake master cylinder and associated components were replaced. I've seen several reports of this generation of Traverse having this same issue for other owners at low mileage. I want to file this report to ensure that NHSTA is aware of this serious safety concern that could result in loss of braking power. It appears to be widespread and not addressed by any recall and dating back to the 2024 model year change to the most recent generation.
