My vehicle randomly turns off the foward collision system causing its supercruise system and adaptive cruise control to turn off while driving on the highway potentially causing and accident. I took it to the dealer in marlton NJ with the foward collision fault light on and they cant find anything wrong with the system as it resets itself after thr vehicle is turned off for two minutes. On our Facebook page I am not the only one who is experiencing this I will attach some documents of similar issues apparently GM has been aware of this for a while and no fix yet.

I bought this vehicle brand new on January 18th 2025 and it has been into the dealership 3 times now for a backup camera malfunction. My rear traffic alert or any of my other safety features when backing up are not working. On several occasions the entire instrument display including my speedometer and everything has completely blacked out.

    - Houston, TX

While driving at highway speed approximately 70 mph), the vehicle suddenly veered into an adjacent lane without any steering input and began swerving back and forth uncontrollably. I did not make any steering corrections that caused this behavior. After approximately 10 seconds of back-and-forth swerving, the vehicle straightened out on its own. No collision occurred, but the incident felt life-threatening. I’m grateful no vehicle was driving next to me, or I would have likely died or been severely injured in a car crash. It was terrifying. Note: this was a rental car through Avis

  • 2022 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE
    - Garner, NC

On Friday, 12/19/2025, I started by car and noticed that the infotainment display was taking longer than usual to boot up. It cycled through the Chevrolet splash screen 2 times until it ended on the "Update Failed. Returned to dealer." Due to this message on the infotainment display, there is no sound coming out of the speakers which results: *unable to hear turn signals when they are activated, *the front camera is no longer working, *unable to hear the parking assist when in reverse, *OnStar is no longer working, and *unable to hear front collision warnings. The display just cycles this message. I called around to several dealerships to see if I could get in that day to get this corrected. I was able to take it to a Chevrolet dealership on Tuesday, 12/23/2025, who diagnosed the problem as software corruption due to the over-the-air update and will result in a new radio needing to be installed. I then called Chevrolet Customer Service Center who stated that since my vehicle is outside of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, regardless of their over-the-air update causing the problem, I would have to pay for the repair. I asked, how do I know that this won't happen again with the new radio? They suggested that I have the dealership turn off the automatic over-the-air updates.

  • 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU
    - Clifton Park, NY

While driving at highway speeds, my vehicle suddenly experienced a loss of engine power and reduced acceleration. The traction control light and engine light illuminated, and a “Reduced Engine Power” message appeared. The vehicle would not respond to the accelerator, creating a serious safety hazard. This occurred shortly after authorized dealer service involving the PCV system and related components. The vehicle did not have this issue prior to dealer service. I returned the vehicle to the dealer, and they stated they could not replicate the issue. The sudden loss of power could have resulted in a serious accident. I believe this may be related to improper dealer service, disturbed electrical connectors, or throttle body/engine management components. I am reporting this as a safety concern. I also would like to mention this safety issue has occurred now multiple times with my car on multiple separate occasions with the last prior occurrence being 12/20/2025.

  • 2026 CHEVROLET TAHOE
    - Pagosa Springs, CO

On [XXX] while driving home from work (5 miles) the engineer ne had rough starts while in auto stop at each light and stop sign. Not enough to cause huge concerns. Two days later on [XXX] we traveled to my mother in laws house 2 hours away. Upon returning home we noticed that the cruise control would not turn on, we pulled over and wiped the sensors even though the car was clean. 25 minutes later there was a metal on metal noise coming from the front end. The noise was heard when letting off the gas pedal. It sounded like a metal fan grinding at a high speed on a tin roof. We pulled over at a parking lot off the side of the road and opened the hood. When attempting to turn the car back on the noise from the engine was the same and it promptly shut down again. The car was towed and determined that the engine blown at 2,333 miles on the OBO. No warning lights ever came on and the oil pressure seemed normal. There are still no notifications on the Chevy app and it still says all is well. Even after the motor is replaced I will not feel safe driving my kids even to school. What happens when we’re driving to Denver for my daughters all state choir and it blows again? What happens if we are traveling at an interstate speed and it causes an accident? I do not want to have to replace the motor twice more just to have GM buy it back. This motor design is going to kill someone and something needs to be done. I have a finance loan of $101,000 for a dangerous car that I will never feel safe in and trading it in we will lose out on $4k in registration and somebody else will buy it and they will be in danger as well. A recall for a buyback for all with the 6.2 L Tahoe engine needs to happen. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

  • 2017 CHEVROLET COLORADO
    - Leon, NM

On Sep 14th 2025 with KM 41959km, after turn on my colorado, after I filled the fuel tank, I had driven more of 50 min, a message appears in the screen control: Failed braking system 100km/h Max Velocity and a second message appears: Provide service to ESC. Then turn off the colorado, wait some seconds and turn on again, no messages appears. So I continue driving normally until Dec 21st 2025 with KM 47200km driving on a boulevard, I did stop two times due to traffic, automatic start/stop activate, in the second stop when start on again same message appears: Failed braking system 100km/h Max, I felt the brakes not responding, my colorado stopped over a greater distance. If I hadn't maintained a safe following distance, I wouldn't have been able to stop in time and I would have crashed into other vehicle. I arrived on home safe but nervous. At next day, Dec 22th turn on my colorado and appears same message, KM 47245km I turned off and tried turn on again but it not turn on, battery low message appeared, then I had to have my Colorado towed to the car dealership. It is on revision waiting a diagnosis. I hope you can analysis this issue. Thanks
