There have been reports of Electrical Problems including the driver side mirror. The mirror housing unit seems to have an electrical issue that is causing the housing unit to overheat and deform the housing unit plastic. This has been happening to my vehicle and I'm very concern that it could develop into something more serious. Contacted the dealer and GM already and they refuse any responsability

Was making a left turn with a left turn street light green for me to turn across an intersection. Pickup stalled in the middle of the intersection and would not start. With the help of another person we manually pushed the pickup out of the intersection and onto another side street. I received an email at that exact time from General Motors showing a code of P129F which is the Fuel Pump Power Control Module. I am a [XXX] man stranded in 90 degree heat with no AC or shade to get under. My safety was put at risk in the above instance but more so if I had been entering IH 10 into traffic traveling 70MPH and my truck had just stopped running without any warning. This is a known problem as described in GM Service Bulletin 24-NA-139 with both the NHTSA and DOT. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I own a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine and Allison-branded 10 speed (10L1000) automatic transmission. VIN: [XXX]. While pulling away from a traffic light and accelerating to approximately 20 to 30 mph, the transmission suddenly began shifting harshly and erratically, experienced delayed engagement, unexpectedly downshifted, and would not shift into overdrive. At the same time, the check engine light illuminated and a Reduced Engine Power warning appeared. There were no warning lights, messages, or transmission symptoms prior to this incident. I pulled into a parking lot for approximately one hour, but when I resumed driving, the same failure occurred again. The transmission malfunction created a safety concern because the vehicle unexpectedly lost normal shifting and power while operating in traffic, making it difficult to accelerate and maintain speed safely. I contacted OnStar, which reported both an engine and transmission fault. I then drove the vehicle to my independent diesel mechanic, who diagnosed a failure of the transmission control valve body caused by an internal solenoid that is not serviceable separately, requiring replacement of the complete transmission control valve body assembly. The repair has been completed, so the original failed component is no longer available for inspection. The failure was confirmed by an independent service center. The vehicle has not been inspected by Chevrolet, law enforcement, or an insurance representative. I contacted General Motors to determine whether my VIN was included in the existing transmission control valve recall and was advised that it is not. I am submitting this complaint because my truck experienced the same symptoms and the same component failure as vehicles covered by the recall, despite my VIN not being included. The 6.2L L87 V8 engine in my 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier RST suffered a catastrophic internal component failure while operating. The engine experienced a sudden, severe internal mechanical breakdown involving the crankshaft or connecting rod bearings, completely disabling the powertrain. This failure causes an immediate and dangerous loss of vehicle propulsion, creating a severe safety hazard on public roads.General Motors has already issued Safety Recall N252494001 (NHTSA Campaign 24V924000) for identical L87 engine bearing failures, but has arbitrarily limited the scope to 2021–2024 model years. My 2020 vehicle uses the exact same L87 engine family and has suffered the exact same catastrophic defect.I am filing this report to urge the NHTSA to expand its current Engineering Analysis (RQ26001) and force General Motors to expand the safety recall to include 2020 model year vehicles before more consumers experience sudden engine failure while driving."
