The straps that hold the water tank broke while I was driving on the highway. It could have caused me to have an accident.

The tire size: ST225/75R15. Purchased on 06/21/2021. With less than 2500 miles we blew out drivers side rear. Upon checking other tires, the passenger rear tread was separated from core, replaced both rear tires in Grand Junction, CO, 09/07/2022. On 09/17/2022, the passenger front tire blew, causing damage to the trailer, removing the fender skirt and damage to te body structure around the wheel well. Upon checking other tires, the drivers front tread was separated from the core, and both tires were replaced in Kearney, NE, on 06/19/2022. We currently have all four tires replaced with the same type tire, and are very uncomfortable with these tires due to this experience. I reported this experience to the BigO dealer and he said the manufacturer would not do anything after reporting to them. Thank you for letting me tell you about our situation. On our 2017 Coachman Cross Country Motorhome with a Cummings motor and Freightliner chassis with 13000 miles we are experiencing our 4 time with DEF system failure The first 2 times the Motorhome was under warranty and had to be towed to a Freightliner repair facility. On October 6, 2021 on our way to Mississippi lights came on for the DEF sensor with a light saying to shut the engine off We made it to a repair facility that was able to replace the system at a cost to us of $1500.00 On October 5, 2022 on our way to Mississippi again approximately 1year to date the lights signals for the DEF failure came on on the East side of Baton Rouge. We once again were able to go to the same repair facility in Mississippi but this time the repair could not be made and we were forced to camp at the repair facility yard for 3 days due to the weekend and now are told our Motorhome has to be towed to a Freightliner facility 25 miles further East from where we are We understand there is a bypass code through Cummings and don’t understand why we have experienced 4 DEF sensor failures and the previous Freightliner facilities have not corrected the problem on our RV

The Lippert frame on our 2015 Coachman Freedom Express has cracks of the frame near the tires. There are also multiple spider cracks throughout the frame. Lippert says they aren't responsible for anything since the unit is over 5 years old. There are campers 30 years old out on the road. How can you only cover a frame for 5 years for structural defects?

Pulling out of camping park noticed wheel leaning outward. Pulled off wheel and noticed axel, wheel bearing and hub damaged along with two cracks in frame. RV only 3 years old.

The contact owns a 2017 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome built on a 2016 Ford F53 Motorhome chassis. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the carbon monoxide alarm alerted him that there were carbon monoxide fumes inside the RV. Upon inspection, the contact noticed that there was a hole in the firewall caused by exposed engine wires that were not sealed. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the RV was not diagnosed nor repaired. The dealer informed the contact that it was a defect and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Coachman Sportscoach. The contact stated that while driving an abnormal noise was heard coming from the rear wheels. The selling dealer was contacted and stated that the issue was a Freightliner issue. The vehicle was taken to a Freightliner dealer that did not diagnose the failure. The contact stated that the failure continued. The recreational vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the failure as the brake drums and the S-cam. The recreational vehicle was repaired. The manufacturers' Coachman and Freightliner were notified of the failure. The contact stated that a case was opened with Freightliner who advised that the brakes were not covered under a warranty as the contact did not have an actual failure with the brakes. The failure mileage was 2,338. Vehicle has been reviewed and updated. Invalid Vin.

This Coachmen Prism 2150CB motorhome, built on a 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis, is now going back to the dealer a third time for the same problem. First time, rear wheel speed sensors were replaced while in for other service as a part of a recall. No big deal. But apparently the issue is not isolated to rear wheel speed sensors. At 11k miles, 500 miles from home, another wheel speed sensor went out, this time the left front. Now, at 14k miles, 1500 miles from home, the right front wheel sensor went out. When this occurs, the following systems do not work: ABS, ESP, cruise control. Why were ALL wheel speed sensors not included in the recall?

The contact owns a 2020 Coachmen Chaparral Lite RV. The contact stated while the RV was stationary, the grey water tank detached from the RV. The contact spoke to the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted.

This RV trailer was being towed on an Interstate Highway when the right side (curbside) rear spring hanger detached from the I-beam. The right rear axle, of this double-axle trailer, shifted forward causing the rear tire to grind into the front one. Fortunately, the right middle and front spring hangers held the axles somewhat in place and the truck&trailer coasted safely onto the shoulder. Although clean metal can be seen in the break, this section of the I-beam and adjacent welds have rusted. These suspension components by Lippert have, in my opinion, prematurely rusted in that it was manufactured and purchased in late-2014, is only 7 years old, and has been towed for only 40,000 miles. Numerous postings to RV Forums have detailed other incidents of premature rusting of Lippert suspensions and detailed steps taken to weld reinforcing plates, angles, and beams to strengthen original components.
