I have attempted to contact my local dealership several times to replace the airbags on this recall. They claimed months ago, stated “It’s on back order” and took my info claiming they’d contact me when the parts are in. They never contacted me. I keep attempting to make appointments with Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Tri-Cities 7171 W. Canal Dr, Kennewick WA Recalls aren’t handled by a live person, just an automated message stating “we’ll get back to you soon” They don’t. I’ve been trying to get this replaced for a year. I would lien someone to contact Dodge or this dealership and ask them to stop hiding from mandatory recalls.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the rear brake lights intermittently illuminated independently. The brake warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the brake module, Part number: 68397222AA; needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the parts being discontinued in October 2024. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 53,047.

There is no incident, however I would like to report a manufacturer problem. Many manufacturers put vehicles on the market with front headlights that are too bright and not aimed properly. See [XXX] There are regulations for the lumens of headlights and system of reflectors, but I assume manufacturers are not be watched for violations. Where I live, in Sarasota, FL, I am blinded by all the vehicle lights at night because lights appear to be on bright when they aren't. Something is very wrong. I don't think everyone is having aftermarket LED lights installed. I think they are coming from the manufacturers that way. Can you help? The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, or while the vehicle was idling while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle made a chugging and choking sound. The vehicle hesitated before accelerating as needed. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent at first but had become a constant failure. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that an inspection was completed, and the vehicle failed the Emissions test due to DTC: P40; for the catalytic converter and Oxygen sensor. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 97,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, several unknown warning lights were flashing on the instrument panel. The contact stated that after receiving an oil change, the engine oil was low within a week. The vehicle was initially taken to an independent mechanic where the oil level was topped off, and the contact was informed that the engine oil cooler needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the contact was informed that oil was leaking onto top of the transmission and that the engine oil cooler needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 74,000.

Daytime running light out on driver side. I researched this on internet and just about every Dodge Durango owner is experiencing same.

The back up camera is malfunctioning. It is not showing a picture at all anymore. It started right when I bought the car a year and a half ago. It was showing the picture then the picture would go away while I was backing up. It also would show the picture upside down and right side up and the picture would go off and on. Now the picture does not come on at all. I believe this should be a recall issue. I found it to be dangerous to see the picture flipping around upside down and turning off.

The pickup has had issue with being very difficult to come out of park. Upon searching internet is seems this is very common and expensive to fix being one of two (or both) things. The shift cable linkage and bushings premature wear, or the valve body release allowing the shifter to be removed from park. Either way concern is this will fail causing inability to shift safely into park and prevent an accident. Extremely unsafe. I have been advised this was already corrected by qualified dealer, but no change. Vehicle has just under 93,000 miles on it and only highway

Leaks fuel from top of fuel pump when parked, car full of gas fumes. It poses an immediate threat to my safety and my children. No warning lamp

Filled fuel tank up until the pump shut off. As I drove onto the road, the engine suddenly died causing me to run off the shoulder as the power steering went out as well. I eventually got it re-started, but it ran rough and stalled out several more times on my way home. After some online research, I determined that it was probably raw gas getting pulled down the EVAP tube. I avoid the problem now by not filling the tank up all the way, but do it once in a while accidently and the problem returns. Highly dangerous situation.
