DODGE Complaints

The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed, and the vehicle shook abnormally. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed. The contact stated that all four tires were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to Midas but was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was taken back to an independent mechanic; however, no cause for the failure was found. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

I have had to have the ABS and HCU modules replaced twice. This is a known issue and Fiat Chrysler is only repairing and reimbursing 2017 to 2018 trucks. Both of my repairs were at Dodge dealerships and are documented.

The unconnected touch screen spazzes out and I am unable to use it. I can’t even turn it off and the light flashing from it affects my eyes while driving at night.

I had a recall on this vehicle, cable/bushing broke on shifter connecting to transmission, shifter does not work stays in park. Recall was repaired 12/2019. This issue has happened again, vehicle not driving. Called dodge dealer they say they are not fixing again, recall only covered for 2 years.

When I pump gas in the tank. It keeps stopping and it will not allow me to put more gas in the tank. Also the gas hand on the dashboard stays at half full. I don’t know how much gas is really in the tank. And electrical the passenger window will not let down on the driver side. I can’t let the window down from the driver side.

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Charger. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V018000 (Air Bags); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

My car is stalling. There is a recall for the same year as my car. I called and check if my car was a part of the recall and it wasn’t. Clearly I am having the same issue. They should put all 2017 dodge grand caravan in this recall.

Our 2024 Dodge Hornet broke down on [XXX] in Baltimore Maryland on [XXX} 8496 miles on it. It was towed to Ourisman Chrysler Dodge 124 north point Blvd 21224. It needed a new engine. Engine replaced October 2024. The new engine needs replacement parts vehicle still not fixed. Today is 180 days without a loaner or rental car. Since I bought this car it would pull when I drive. Asked dodge once and told nothing wrong. Now years later an engine light always shows up. Car was checked and O2 sensor issue. I found recall on exact issue and my VIN not showing up. I want this fixed so my vin shows up as recall. This is not ok. I have enclosed the recall.
