The contact owns a 2001 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that upon start of the vehicle; an abnormal clanking sound was coming from the vehicle. An independent mechanic was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the failure was most likely related to a defective rod bearing. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 217,000.

I was rear ended while traveling eastbound on US 175 ( C F Hawn Fwy ). When I was hit the impact pushed me alittle ways. The other driver was going pretty fast because I was hit hard enough to where the trunk of the car was pushed into the back seat of the car. After being able to get out of the car. I noticed that the airbags didn't deploy. The seat belt did lock up but the airbags did not come out.

We are having power sliding door issues. The doors are trying to stay in the locked position causing you to not be able to get passengers and kids out of the car safely.

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was bouncing. The contact related the failure to a faulty carrier bearing in the driveshaft; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 MPH and making a left turn, the power steering failed to operate properly, causing the steering wheel to become difficult to turn in either direction. The contact stated that the "Electric Power Steering Failure" message was displayed after the failure. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 53,000.

The alternator suddenly failed with no warning lights or lamps indicating a problem. I was driving when the car suddenly stalled and I managed to get home . Heavy smoke was coming from under the hood and when I raised the hood heavy smoke was coming up out of the alternator and I could smell burning wires. I had it towed to Elder Dodge and they confirmed that the alternator was burnt out and it fried the PCM and other electrical components. The safety issue was it could've caught the whole engine on fire and it could have caused a wreck with traffic behind us. I contacted the FCA and sent all information that they requested for reimbursement but they refuse to reimburse me for a faulty alternator that short circuited and caught on fire. I am contacting you for help with this matter so they will reimburse me for damages done to my Durango.

Vehicle purchased new, maintained per the owners manual and radiator requires replaced due to manufacturers defect.

Although the 2014 Dodge Journey received the R61 / NHTSA 15V-675 recall, the warning lights for the Electronic Stability Control, anti-lock braking system failure and the warning are currently coming on (September 2023). of the brake/parking brake system on the dashboard, thus indicating that something is not working well. When scanning the car it appears that there is no communication or there is a defect between the steering angle sensor (SAS) modules and the anti-lock braking system (ABS) module. I request that this be investigated, considering that it is a safety problem that can occur during vehicle braking. Thank you for your time.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. The contact stated while refueling the vehicle, the fuel started leaking from the filler neck. The contact waited for a while to refuel the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that a message was displayed on the instrument cluster "Gas Cap". The contact stated that she checked the gas cap and was properly placed then replaced the gas cap however, the message recurred. The dealer was notified of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact refenced the NHTSA Campaign Number: 09V003000 (Fuel System, Gasoline. The manufacture was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 126,337.

The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle came to a stop, and the trailer lights were inoperable. The vehicle was diagnosed by the contact who is an independent mechanic. The vehicle was diagnosed with a failed trailer light control module. The trailer light control module was replaced by the contact. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 56,700.
