VEHICLE TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE IGNITION BUTTON GOES TO ACC. THE CLUSTER BOARD THEN SAYS TO PRESS BRAKE AND PUT VEHICLE IN PARK. THIS IS HAPPENING EVERY COUPLE TRIPS

My car was in an accident that ended up being a total loss. Major damage to both driver and passenger sides. No air bags deployed at all. Hit two trees doing 65 mph

Water intrusion into the large tail light causing a short and corrosion that intermittently disables blinkers and running lights

Belt under hood keeps falling off and or breaking car seizes up and locks up almost crashed a few times Also engine problems smokes a lot wipers don’t work windows won’t go down also transmission jerks when driving

The Oil Filter Housing Unit was loose, causing oil to slow-leak into the spark plugs, resulting in my engine misfiring. According to the mechanic that worked on my vehicle, this is common in a lot of newer vans like the Caravan and the Chrysler Town And Country. I ended up having to pay about $900 to have the spark plugs and the Oil Filter Housing Unit replaced.

The vehicle wouldn’t start, just kept idolizing. After trying for 10 minutes then getting a new key battery, the vehicle started then engine light was on. A code for crankshaft was on. But then check engine light went off by time I was home. Car broke down in middle of road. Wheel and breaks locked up which was very unsafe with my kids in car and I was unable to move it till tow truck came. Vehicle started working once it was at the auto repair shop. So we had him change the fuel pump because nothing else would show was wrong with the vehicle. Then 5 days later it broke down again. It is now back at the auto repair with no code showing.

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would stall as the RPMs would surge and the vehicle would fail to accelerate upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that her check The contact called two dealers and was informed by both engine had only appeared once on the instrument panel. dealers that her vehicle was not apart of NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000(Power Train). The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and was given the same information as the dealer. The transmission was replaced by an independent mechanic. Despite the transmission replacement, the contact had taken the vehicle back to the independent mechanic three times as the failure persisted and transmission fluid began to leak from the transmission. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Nitro. The contact received recall notification of the NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V396000 (Air Bag, Steering) however, the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair where the emblem was removed however, the emblem was then replaced due to parts were unavailable to complete the recall . The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
