The headlight bulbs, like a past recall on the 2011-2012 Chargers, regularly fry through fuses and stop working. This is obviously caused by a more serious issue in the vehicle and should be recalled. Many Dodge Charger and Challenger owners have been faced with this common problem, as shown in the comments on the page linked below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAmcGxeD5LY In my case, I've had several electrical issues with the headlight, and have had the entire headlight unit replaced. We have also switched the bulbs to see if that changes anything. After still having problems with the light going out, the repair shop I took it to informed me that the fuse can be switched for a quick fix, although it is not fixing the root of the problem, and this is a very common issue among these types of cars.

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the battery warning light illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving to his residence. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the alternator was burned and needed to be replaced. The contact towed the vehicle to the local dealer however, the mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 99,938.

Brake system has ongoing and continuous defects, malfunctions and failure. I have had calipers fall off and pr stick causing the wheel to overheat and melt the tire rim. Replaced all that. Brakes never seem strong enough to properly stop this vehicle safely. Brake lights stay off and on light a Christmas tree. Had several inspections for code errors. Replace entire system in January of 2023. $1,800. Less than 500 miles later, another caliper sticks, then snaps causing entire break assembly to move, damaging yet another wheel rim. I love this vehicle. The room, style. But it's not safe. I've almost caused an accident on the road 3 times due to this useless brake system. This last incident put me in a ditch. It's still in the mechanics shoo. Severe wheel damage this time.

On 3/10/2023 my vehicle suddenly starting trembling and shaking profusely! It terrified me severely. I immediately called my mechanic and it was towed in to be repaired. I was told it needed a tune- up. Towing, 3-Direct Ignition coils replaced, 6-spark plugs replaced and 1- fuel injection plenum gasket set replaced. Four weeks later on 4/16/2023 a warning sign of a backwards meeting parenthesis with a lightening bolt between to the two backwards parenthesis showed up on my warning lamp-Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Indicator symbol; causing my vehicle on shake, jump and stall as I was driving on 29S heading toward 70W towards Baltimore to get home. I was able to drive to side of the road and my car completely stopped. A the horrific sounds of the traffic wizzed by me and my 12 year old child, I immediately called AAA, as we were in danger and severely terrified. We were finally picked up after 3 long hours!!!!! My car was the towed up the street from my home because the huge tow truck was unable to get directly in front of my door at that late hour. As I called AAA back the next morning to have my car towed to my mechanic shop, I was told I could only get 1 tow/ breakdown. I was totally in disbelieve after all we endured the evening/ night before. After explaining to a supervisor at AAA, she agreed that we had such a horrible experience the night before and adjusted the policy to accommodate my vehicle to be towed to my mechanic for repairs. This time, my fuel pump needed to be replaced and it has been. My vehicle still feels hesitate in its acceleration and as of today my engine light is on on my warning panel. The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle made abnormal whining sounds. Additionally, the contact stated that upon coming to a complete stop, the vehicle jerked and revved significantly. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred while driving and coming to a complete stop. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

Service power steering warning comes on, causes my gauge cluster to go blank & dark, I lose A/C, power steering, headlights work intermittently, blinkers & all steering wheel button options stop working, and my transmission will start downshifting shifting erratically. It downshifts so hard I'm afraid I'll lose control of my car. Yesterday I had a message pop up saying it was going into Power Saving Mode. When the power steering warning is on, my A/C will have half the vents blowing cold air, the other half blowing hot heater air. During the winter my heated seats only worked intermittently. All of these issues are related to the past recalls on my car that were supposedly fixed; however, the problems are still occurring. Can somebody please contact me about these recalls and tell me what I should do? Thank you!

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Durango. The contact stated while driving at approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the vehicle lost power steering functionality when the failure occurred. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after placing the vehicle in park(P). The contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle had been repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

The contact's mother owns a 2017 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH, she noticed an abnormal water odor inside the vehicle and the vehicle was overheating. The contact veered to the side of the road for a moment and then continued driving; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that she veered to the side of the road several times on her way to her residence. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where the water pump was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the thermostat was replaced three times on three different occasions; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who informed the contact that the thermostat continuously failed due to the vehicle overheating; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

No warning lamps. I managed to reset the actuator but it jammed up again. The doors won't unlock or lock depending on the position the actuator failed in. I haven't taken this to a dealer, but based on several videos and forum questions I was able to self diagnose and reproduce the problem.

Water intrusion into racetrack tail light. This has apparently been an issue for ten years on this style of light on Durangos with no recall or fix offered. There are hundreds of YouTube videos on how to drain water by removing a bolt, applying silicone caulk or other random fixes. Now my rear tail light is so dim it's nearly undetectable and the dealership wants to charge $1600 to fix it. But I read that even though dealers replace the lights, the problem persists because the problem with design is not fixed. No warning lights to tell me my light was out. My son told me he noticed it when I visited him a few days ago. No inspection has been done. You can see water inside that's filled up the light component. I drive this vehicle less than 1000 mi per month. It can pretty much be inspected at any time in my driveway. The problem doesn't need to be confirmed by a dealer. I can take a picture. It's water in a tail light. Very obvious.
