The alternator failed while the vehicle was in operation and it stalled without warning on the highway at 55 mph. This left the car without power steering and a dangerous situation until I was able to get the car to the side of the road. I was left stranded halfway on/off the road until I could get a wrecker to come tow. Towed the vehicle to he nearest automotive service center where I was told the alternator failed. It also shorted out the battery. Alternator, battery, and tow was $1200.00. I see recalls on the internet for my year and model car for the alternator but when I enter my VIN, it does not show up for my individual car. Why is that?

Vehicle failed inspection, AIR BAG LIGHT ON. Driver seat wire harness open left thorax squib must replace entire harness, air bag circuits cannot be repaired due to high resistance splicing causes. Part on Back order until August 2023!! Car cannot be repaired and is out of service, unable to drive, illegal to drive, I have a $20,000 car loan, Thrifty Car Sales of Westfield, [XXX], violated Massachusetts Lemon Law and refused the car while under the 60 day, 2500 mile Used Car Warranty. Exhaust Leak, Muffler clamp rusted through, not holding pipes together. Driver Front Marker Light Bulb open circuit, bulb needs to be replaced. Twice upon driving tonight, I pressed the pedal to accelerate when the light turned green, and the driver seat unlocked and pulled me backwards. If I wasn't holding on to the steering wheel I would have lost control of the car and been involved in an accident. I was able to press the break with the tip of my toe, manage to put the car in park, readjust the seat and go back into drive. All this while the light had turned green and cars were accelerating behind me. This happened twice tonight!! I am taller than my mom, but she is the primary driver of this vehicle. And this has started happening more often. I am VERY concerned for her safety with this issue driving to work and heading home. And she is a senior driver. You can imagine my concern... We always check the seats when first getting into the car to make sure everything is ok. But now the seat is dislodging without warning ??. Could this possibly be a recall issue we missed? I think it's time to trade in this vehicle for a different one if nothing can be done

I took my car into Fairfield Dodge (Fairfield Texas). I have taken my car in about 3 times already. The first two was to do test on it. I can be driving my car and smell Gas as if I stepped in it. the smell makes me sick. I can park my car and the smell is just ask bad on the outside as it is in the inside. the car dealership said oh we have found the problem. They had my car for 1mth and 2 days and changed the fuel take and canaster, oh that is it. They said it is fixed " WRONG. " I smell the same smell, and just as strong as I did when I took it in. So, I called, and they told me oh well we can set you up to bring it in so we can check it out. They DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. I only have like 57,000 miles on my car and if this is a ongoing thing I think these falls under a LEMON LAW, I bought this car new. This is very dangerous I would like to get answers on my car and not have to leave it for a month or so just to have the same thing happen again and again. It is so bad if someone was to throw a cigarette down in the parkin lot it might caught on fire. I hope I can get answers before taking it in and getting no answers. Steering is not as good as it should be. Has 83,000 miles and steering seems very loose, seems to wander from left to right, and hard to control, on Highway or city streets.

After driving in heavy rain. During the following day started having electrical issues the parking lights would stay on even when the switch was turned off the driver's side headlight would also come on. and the parking lights would either turn off or flash when the high beams were turned on this happened with front and back parking lights the only way to fully get them to stay off was to pull the relay or disconnect the battery. The problem is with the power distribution center and front control module the poor design allows them to corrode damaging the copper tracing and causing shorts in the system this is a common problem as there are several online forums dedicated to these problems with a lot of people having the same issues so I'm not sure why there hasn't been a recall for this since it is a major safety problem when it affects lights, windshield wipers and several other things that could cause accidents. my brother's truck is also having sign's of the pdc and fcm being bad. and at over $1000 to replace both for a manufacturing defect it's not right that dodge customer's should have to pay that bill. I'll be attaching a picture of another board but the damage is the same and in the same spot

The Air Bag Light remains on. I was told that it is responsible for the Driver's Side Air Bag. It was formally documented on February 25th, 2023 by Firestone on King St. in Northampton, MA 01035. It has been brought to LIA DODGE KING STREET in NORTHAMPTON, MA 01060. THEY TOLD ME THE WIRING PART TO REPAIR THIS IS ON BACKORDER AND NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 2023 and not guaranteed to be available. In addition, I was told it would cost $900.00 to install. I was told this by multiple people including CHRYSLER DODGE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS TOLD A NEW PART IS IN DEVELOPMENT AND NOT READY UNTIL AUGUST 2023. If this is in fact, true, then this is a huge safety risk for all 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan Driver's who have the Air Bag Light on and may or may not have a working Air Bag. This is a huge safety issue. Additionally, I was told that the part is a "Wiring Harness" Part#68531685AA and it would cost $900.00 to install. On the Mopar Site, it is just the JUMPER WIRE SENSOR" PART# 68531685AA and is $45.00 plus $20.00 Shipping!!!! I was also told by Chrysler Dodge Customer Service that a Dodge Dealer can install the part after I buy the part on Mopar.com and Lia Dodge told me they could not. My car has been rejected following a failed inspection for the Airbag light and ALSO the RUSTED CLAMP that is holding the Exhaust Pipes together and Co2 is backing up into the Cabin. In addition to the SENSOR JUMPER WIRE Part# 98531685AA, the Vehicle should also be recalled for the Part# 4578916AB The Exhaust Clamp that is rusted and falling off causing Co2 to back up into the Cabin according to both Lia Dodge and Auto Express in Hadley, MA 01035. The Vehicle is off the road and not able to be repaired or inspected as it is illegal to drive until it is inspected. Please confirm the above information regarding the parts and start a recall so I can have these problems fixed or reimbursed by Dodge the Manufacturer, as they SHOULD BE BY THE MANUFACTURER. The Vehicle only has 70,000 miles.

I bought this car used but it only had 26340 on it and now it is almost to 30000. When driving it sounds as though the motor is knocking, but the oil is fine when checked on. It seems to have difficulty changing gears, sometimes way to fast and it whines other times it struggles to shift gears. Rpms are not steady they are bouncing around high love. When it does get to speed it feels as though the brakes are being appflied. At times the motorwhines because, the gear is to low it starts to get loud and become very hesitant when shifting to the higher gears. Sometimes it feels like the motor or something is going to come offf. There is a bunch of rattling going on . When I do park and turn it off, shortly after it sounds as if there is something running around inside the motor area. I was told it runs great and haven't even put 3000 miles on it. I think it's going to blow up or just die

The power locks in each door have failed and no door is accessible from the outside with exception to the drivers side front door. I am no longer able to open the passenger door nor the drivers side and passengers side sliding doors. This began while my kids were in the van and they were unable to get out without climbing through the van. The lock actuators in every single door have failed. There does not seem to be a root cause. I locked the van one evening and found the drivers side door no longer unlocked with the fob. Shortly after, the passengers side door lock failed altogether. As of tonight, both sliding doors cannot be unlocked and are jammed shut. There is no damage, this just appears to be a mechanical failure.

While driving my dodge journey 2016 crossroad plus my engine started to hesitate when giving it throttle pressure to accelerate and when attempting to accelerate it decreased in speed and would in then cut power to speed up and then gain it back rapidly going into high rpm’s vehicle would then slow down on highway causing a huge safety risk for myself and others on the interstate
