2025 DODGE CHARGER EV- DAVENPOR, FL
2025 Dodge Charger EV | VIN: [XXX] | Purchased: April 11, 2026 | Dealer: Thunder Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Bartow, FL I am reporting multiple active, unresolved safety system failures that began within 24 hours of purchase and remain unrepaired after two dealer visits. On April 15–16, 2026, the dealer documented NINE fault codes across FIVE modules, including an active Electronic Throttle Module fault that would not clear — a direct risk of unintended acceleration or loss of speed control. Additional active alerts included ABS failure, brake system failure, airbag system failure, suspension failure, and blind spot system failure. The only repair performed was a software flash. No safety systems were physically repaired. Alerts returned May 2, 2026. Pre-sale service history (undisclosed at sale) shows five battery-charging failures, a July 2025 software fault, and a complete no-start event on December 18, 2025 requiring updates to four electronic modules. A post-purchase repair invoice (April 2025) also documents a Collision Thrust Angle Alignment — a frame geometry procedure performed after structural impact — raising concerns about airbag deployment zone integrity. 2019 DODGE JOURNEY- Cedar HIll, MO
The backup camera has been an issue since I bought this vehicle back around 2020. It first would go in and out to black and now it's fully upside down at all times. I thought a recall had been issued but my vehicle doesn't qualify for some reason which is very frustrating. It's very unsafe, especially when I have a [XXX] old trying to "permit" drive in this vehicle. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2018 DODGE DURANGO- Sierra Vista, AZ
While driving, the passenger front headrest suddenly popped forward hitting the passenger in the back of the head aggressively and unexpectedly. No accident involved or any aggressive braking. The vehicle/headrest is available for inspection upon request. The safety of my passenger was put at risk as it punched them in the back of the head. It gave her an instant headache and mildly upset stomach. I have not taken the vehicle to the dealership yet, planning to try and go this week. The headrest has not been inspected by anyone besides me yet. No error messages or lights before or since the event.

2004 DODGE RAM 2500- Patchogue, NY
The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram. The contact was informed that the vehicle had four notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 13V528000 (STEERING), 16V352000 (AIR BAGS), 15V313000 (AIR BAGS) and 09E001000 (STEERING). However, the parts to do the recall repairs for both air bags are not available. Two local dealers were contacted and confirmed that the recall parts were on back order and it was unknown how long it would take for them to be delivered. The recall part for the passenger side was the part that is on national back order. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

2023 DODGE DURANGO- Fort Campbell, KY
I have a 2023 Dodge Durango GT. I have noticed that every so often I get an error message that pops up on my radio that says “UConnect box need service contact an authorized dealer”. I’ve taken it in and had the radio flashed and it keeps coming back. Everytime it comes on is disables my SOS and makes it non functional as well as it disables my other SiriusXM Guardian features. I find this to be an extreme safety concern as it disables the SOS feature to contact emergency services incase of an accident. Seems to be an ongoing issue with Durango models.

2019 DODGE JOURNEY- Herndon, VA
My 2019 Dodge Journey was built in March of 2019. My backup assist camera is having the same issues as the recall for Dodge Journeys that were built in May thru September or 2019. Why is my car not included in the recall when it is suffering the exact same issue as the vehicles included in the recall. Clearly I have the same equipment as the other cars.

2024 DODGE DURANGO- Clearwater, FL
2024 Dodge Durango (SXT Plus, GT Plus, RT trims) Update to my prior complaint regarding a dangerous shifter defect. Defect Description: While driving and pressing the accelerator (no brake, no shifter button pressed), the transmission shifts into Neutral without warning. The vehicle loses propulsion. The instrument cluster does not display or warn that it is in Neutral — no chime, no message, no clear gear indicator. This matches NHTSA Recall 26V262000 (FCA 39D), where the instrument panel fails to show gear selection in other 2024–2025 Stellantis vehicles. Widespread Issue: I have replicated this multiple times on my SXT Plus, a GT, and RT models. Other owners in Durango groups report the same. This is a systemic defect across Dodge Durango trims and likely the broader Stellantis/Chrysler/Mopar lineup. Related Lawsuit: This also appears connected to the class action [XXX] et al. v. FCA US LLC d/b/a Stellantis (Case XXX) regarding defective Uconnect 5 systems in 2022–2024 Durango's and similar models. My Background: I have worked in transportation most of my career, hold FDOT Advanced MOT certification, and am completing my undergraduate degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA).I request NHTSA investigate this shifter and instrument cluster defect across affected Durango models. This has nearly caused a collision and endangers the public. Available: videos, records, owner statements. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
