2014 DODGE DART- Las Vegas, NV
Following up on case/tracking number 11734334 with further evidence that my VIN should be included in recall 15V-800. The auto shop investigated why my brake booster failed and it was specifically because of engine oil leaking onto the brake booster.

2024 DODGE DURANGO- Clearwater, FL
Vehicle Component Failure Description: The electronic gear shifter intermittently shifts into neutral without the driver pressing the release button or applying the brake, and can also slide back into drive without button engagement. This has occurred multiple times since service on 08/27/2025 and continues to occur. The issue has been demonstrated to dealership personnel, who confirmed they could replicate the condition but stated it is “normal.” Two separate dealerships (Suncoast Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Dayton Andrews Dodge) 3x both acknowledged the behavior and classified it as normal operation. Safety Risk: On 04/30/2026, while pulling from a center median on Gulf to Bay right before Bayside Bridge into traffic (vehicles traveling approximately 45 MPH), the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into neutral without warning. The vehicle lost power and would not accelerate, creating an immediate hazard. I was forced to veer back into the median and narrowly avoided colliding with an arrow board trailer. This condition creates a serious risk of collision, especially in traffic, intersections, or highway conditions, as the vehicle can unexpectedly lose propulsion without any driver input. Inspection / Reproduction: -Issue has been reproduced by dealership personnel -Dealerships claim the condition is “normal” -Manufacturer (Chrysler) has been contacted and a case opened -Vehicle is under warranty (~18,200 miles) Warnings / Symptoms: -No warning lights or alerts prior to shifting into neutral -Occurs without pressing the shifter button or brake pedal Additional Information: Dealership personnel advised to “make sure nothing touches the shifter while driving,” indicating the system may be overly sensitive or defective. This is not a reasonable or safe expectation for normal vehicle operation. If this behavior is considered “normal,” it represents a design or safety defect, as unintended shifting into neutral while in motion creates a high risk of crash or injury.

2020 DODGE DURANGO- Homestead, FL
While driving normally, not in an accident, the active head restraint system failed and slammed into my head. If there was traffic this would have likely caused an accident because it was unexpected, severe, and abrupt while leaving me disoriented and with a persistent headache. This is absolutely ridiculous and unsafe.

2024 DODGE HORNET- Bensalem , PA
Unresolved Safety Defects & Request for Buyback/Replacement - 2024 Dodge Hornet GT ?Dear NHTSA ?I am writing to formally demand a resolution regarding a persistent and life-threatening safety defect in my vehicle, purchased from Gary Barbera Autoland. ?Since the time of purchase, this vehicle has experienced repeated electrical malfunctions causing a total loss of power, including the failure of steering and braking systems while in motion. To date, the vehicle has been returned for service seven times over the past 2.5 years for this identical issue. ?The dealership has failed to rectify the defect and is now citing an expired mileage warranty. However, the records clearly indicate that this safety defect was reported and remained unresolved while the vehicle was well within the warranty period. Under the Pennsylvania Lemon Law and the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer is required to repair a vehicle within a reasonable number of attempts (typically three). ?This vehicle is currently unsafe for myself, my disabled mother, and the public. I am requesting that Stellantis the Manufacturer initiate a buyback or replacement of this vehicle immediately. Please provide a written response within [5-7] business days outlining your intent to resolve this matter. Thank you ?Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2012 DODGE RAM 3500- Wasilla, AK
Driving my 2012 dodge ram 3500, just as I was crossing one of the busiest intersections in my town my truck lost all power and dropped from 35mph to 5 mph. Barley made it acrossed and pulled over. As soon as I pulled over the engine light comes on, checked code, and U010C lost coms with turbo actuator comes up. Turned truck off and rest code and everything back to normal. About a week later it happened again, luckily not as busy of a spot. Called dealer and soonest appointment was in April. Meanwhile I look up code and see hundreds of post for same issue, bad actuator replace. 28 years as a diesel mechanic for the military, so I found the part online and ordered. Replaced the actuator, drove about 50 miles, light comes back on. Finally get my appointment with dealer and they say my turbo is bad, they want $8k to fix. I ordered the turbo and replaced it myself along with another actuator, test drove. Light still comes on but have not lost power yet?? Dealer is not helping. This is a major issue that is all over the internet! The truck just goes to limp and your in the middle of traffic. If this has not caused an accident it’s only a matter of time before it does. The dealer ship just wants to replace big parts for lots of money. I’m already $2500 into this and still having an issue
