The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the transmission shifter failed to shift out of park. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with transmission shifter cable failure. The contact was informed that the transmission shifter cable needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V674000 (Power Train); however, parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and several cases were filed. The contact inquired about reimbursement for the out-of-pocket repair. The contact was informed that the reimbursement request was denied because the repair was not performed by the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 54,079.

Anytime it is cold out, there is an issues with the doors not closing. Today it us 4 degrees out and I was able to get the doors closed. As I was driving down the road I live on the door popped open. I stopped, opened the door shut the door and locked it. I proceeded to drive a little more and it happened again. I again stopped and opened the door and shut and locked it again. I turned around to go back home and it did it a third time. I stopped and shut it, locked it and started to drive. This time I went around a ben and the door flew open. I am a member on a Facebook group of other Hornet owners and ther is an ongoing issue with the doors not closing when it's cold. Its a huge safety issue! I am scared to drive this car in winter, it's not safe.

2023 DODGE CHARGER- milford, CT
Theres a problem with the lifters. They are of the "MDS" type.If exposed to too much pressure while cold they appear to have a issue with the needle bearings failing. This problem was corrected on two other occasions and repaired. Its making the same noise again.Prior to this i had contacted the California Dispute Settlement Program as this purchase was from that state and had suggested they replace the cam and lifter setup to one of a non-MDS type and a high volume oil pump and Dodge denied my request. While the vehicle was repaired, they didnt provide documentation as to what was done although i was told the first time it was repaired they had indeed replaced lifters.

When i want to turn off my car, the key gets stuck in ACC and does not turn to off. The key wont turn all the way off gets stuck, even though I am in parking. I saw that their is a recall for this and their is no answer for this yet or remedy I mean. But it has been happening to my car every single day, every single time I drive and I am very scared for my safety. Especially when having kids or other people in the car with me.

2024 DODGE HORNET- Griffith, IN
I went to have an oil change and was told I had a coolant leak. Took to dealership and they told me they don’t see an issue. Two days later the same problem persists. I go under the hood and the coolant container is empty. Coolant was added and there is still an issue. I bring it back for a second time and dealership can not find the problem but clearly there is a problem.

I've noticed a decrease in power. My car won't go over 40 miles an hour; 3,000 Rpms. There had been no warnings prior or any engine codes that had popped up. I'm not sure why it started happening.
