As I was exiting a driveway onto a 4 lane highway(2 lanes, divider, 2 lanes) I was attempting to enter into the nearest lane when my car completely pulled the wheel into the outer lane where an oncoming vehicle was and there was impact deploying airbags. I did not have the driving assist engaged. My vehicle was totaled and I had injuries requiring emergency care.

Ever since the update that came to my car last October (update 24.11.1), the instrument cluster screen of my car does not turn on initially upon starting the car around half the time I start it. It will turn on eventually, varying in time anywhere from 1-10 minutes later. My local dealership has yet been able to fix it and tell me they have no idea why this would be happening and over the many attempts to fix this and many service appointments they now say that they need to replace the entire display but that none of available and not sure when they will be. Reading through the owners forums, I am not alone with this issue [XXX] ) Obviously, the car isn't safe to drive this way even though I continue to make my monthly payments to Genesis, so hoping someone can help me. (I've included two photos for reference...one where you can see the instrument cluster information screen off and then about 5 minutes later when it turned on.) My vehicle has an electrical sensor issue. The Doors do not always open when fob button is pressed. Locks up and does not perform as described by manufacturer. This makes shopping feel a little scary as we have grown accustomed to a car that would open as we approached it. Not sure from day to day whether it will work or not. The Tailgate does not open and after over a dozen visits and at least fifteen days in the shop there is still no resolution to this problem. This means loading and unloading cargo from a side door. Less than ideal. 15 days with three plus visits. The last event occurred about 10 days ago when the air conditioner went out. We have air but no cool air as the ac compressor stoped working. We had the advantage of the car already being scheduled for the door and gate problem now compounded by the AC unit being broke.

Subject: Safety Concern Regarding 2017 Genesis G80 Dear NHTSA, I am writing to report an ongoing issue with my 2017 Genesis G80. While driving, I have experienced a significant safety concern related to the vehicle's acceleration. Specifically, when accelerating at various speeds, the vehicle begins to jerk abruptly and violently, causing a potentially dangerous situation on the road. After seeking advice, I was informed that the problem might be related to the engine malfunctioning or failing. I am deeply concerned about the safety risks this poses, both for myself and others on the road. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or investigation into this matter to ensure the issue is addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this serious safety concern. Sincerely,? At just 41,000 miles, the oil pressure sensor has failed. There are many on-line reports of this issue going back several years for the Genesis G80 sedan. It appears this is NOT covered under the 10 yr/100,000 mile warranty and is only covered by the 5 yr/60,000 mile warranty. In my case, this part failed almost 5 years to the day. It is unreasonable that the owner should get stuck with a $1000+ repair bill for a part that has a well known failure reported over and over. This should be a free repair.

I was driving approx 15 MPH i drove through a S turn in a residential area at slow speed . Suddenly my vehicle lost power and I hit a parked car . The right front corner was damaged. The driver side airbags, deployed the passenger side air bags did not deploy automatic break did not work. The safety warning did not go off . The vehicle was taken to my yard where it was later taken to a body shop, I found out later this shop was not an approved Allstate shop which was a mistake with Repair was done poorly, and not completeld I don’t think it’s safe to drive. The air bags have not been replaced . There is a headlight still Not working since the accident There is no reason for me to crash that day. I was wide awake just woke up. The car just did not handle properly. Something went wrong and now I find out that this vehicle make model is being recalled for fuel pump failures, which is causing loss of power in accidents. That’s exactly what happened in my car. Genesis needs to take responsibility for this vehicle as it has with other similar vehicles. This Vehicles has not been inspected for this with the dealership. I’ve taken it to them. They say there’s nothing wrong. That would be Genesis of Las Vegas .

Frequently, when starting my car, the instrument cluster display is blank. It can take many minutes for it to turn on. This is unsafe as I can’t see speed and other potential alerts.

We have been trying to get a dealership to service our recall for months. We were told they don't do them at a few Genesis dealerships in the area and then one told they don't have the the parts and to check back with them and that was months ago and the still don't have what's needed. I am fearful for my family's safety and can't seem to get any assistance in getting this matter resolved. We visited the following dealerships: West Houston Hyundai Genesis 16803 Katy Fwy, Houston TX, 77094 Genesis of Spring 20440 Interstate 45, Spring TX, 77373 We called via phone the following dealership: (and was told they don't service Genesis) Sterling Mccall Hyundai 10301 Southwest Fwy, Houston TX, 77074
