2012 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Harbeson, DE
The contact owns a 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V635000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). After the recall repair, the vehicle unexpectedly ran out of fuel even though the instrument panel indicated approximately 90 miles to empty. The contact added fuel and resumed driving; however, the vehicle ran out of fuel while the display showed approximately 50 miles to empty. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer again. Upon inspection, the local dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the engine needed to be replaced due to a coolant line leak. The mechanic reported that there were no diagnostic trouble codes retrieved, and that the vehicle failed to remain running. The manufacturer was contacted, and informed that a specialist would inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 143,764.

2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Concord, NH
I am reporting a steering failure on my 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque vin# [XXX] . The electric power steering assists motor separated from the steering rack due to the retention bolts that were severely corroded and snapped. The failure occurred without any warning, lights, messages, or prior symptoms. The vehicle became undriveable and posed a serious safety risk due to the loss of steering. A LandRover dealer in Bedford, NH has confirmed that the retention bolts corroded and fractured, causing the steering gear motor to detach from the rack. The repair requires replacement of the entire steering gear assembly. I have written repair estimate confirming this diagnosis. There is an existing recall (N632) addressing steering rack bolt corrosion on similar vehicles, but my vin was excluded. However the failure mechanism in my vehicle to the condition described in that recall: bolt corrosion to steering separation. This vehicle was operated in Maine, a high road salt environment. The failure occurred without driver negligence and appears to be a materials/design issue rather than a maintenance - related. Given the catastrophic safety risk of sudden steering failure, I request that this issue be reviewed for expanded recall consideration. 2019 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Glendale, CA
The infotainment system system that controls the AC RADIO DEFROST HEATED SEATS, SETTINGS, DRIVEABILITY SETTINGS does not turn on. This is my wifes car and she has to drive sometimes with no defrost while its raining and not AC/Heat control while the weather is cold or super hot in LA. The problem has been diagnosed by the dealer and there has been a recall issued for this specific recall, just not for my vin number. So Land Rover Corporate refuses to fix it or provide any financial help. The car has 45,000miles and we are the original owner. I believe our vin should also be included in the recall of the Land over Sport Infotainment system. I believe our model was not included because it was a diesel and not many range rover sport diesels are in the States,.

2012 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Harbeson, DE
Vehicle: 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged (VIN: [XXX] ) Recall Campaign: N623 / NHTSA 21V635 Incident Description: In October 2025 I had a recall repair done at Land Rover Annapolis. I picked up my vehicle from Land Rover Annapolis after the N623 Fuel Outlet Flange Recall was performed. Immediately after service, while driving in a live lane of traffic, the vehicle unexpectedly stalled, resulting in a complete loss of motive power. The dashboard fuel gauge falsely indicated 55 miles of remaining range, but the vehicle had actually run out of fuel. This indicates that the fuel sending unit/float assembly was improperly reinstalled or damaged during the recall service, creating a secondary safety defect. I figured it would calibrate and fix itself. When the dealer reached out after my service appointment I made them aware of the issue. No one contacted me. I contacted Land Rover corporate when it continued to happen and was told to bring it back to the certified repair location. The dealership took 16 mins to look at my vehicle and deem the engine bad. Give a ballpark quote of 20000 to 30000 dollars to replace the engine. Despite this life-safety event, the dealership refused to pull stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and is attempting to deflect liability by blaming a pre-existing minor coolant leak that never triggered an overheat warning. I am reporting a failure of the recall remedy and requesting an investigation into the dealership's refusal to diagnose consequential damage (High-Pressure Fuel Pump failure) caused by the botched safety When I brought up the fact that they should have diagnosed the codes already he offered to have them run it for free tomorrow like he was doing me some kind of favor. When I said did I disagreed with the findings based on the fact that there was no evidence of it being the engine overheating due to cool it he replied that maybe I needed a second opinion and it needed to be off of their lot by Friday. 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Burbank, CA
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The steering and driver assistance system appear to be malfunctioning. The vehicle intermittently pulls to the right during lane changes, creating resistance in the steering wheel. Additionally, the blind spot monitoring indicator remains illuminated when the vehicle is stopped. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? While driving at freeway speeds, the vehicle unexpectedly pulled to the right when attempting to change lanes. This required immediate corrective steering to maintain lane position. The condition creates a loss of driver confidence and could result in unintended lane departure or collision. The unexpected steering behavior poses a serious safety risk to myself, passengers, and surrounding vehicles. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The issue has been experienced multiple times. The vehicle recently had front control arms replaced, but the steering pull and blind spot indicator issue have persisted intermittently. The concern has not yet been fully diagnosed or confirmed as resolved. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has not been inspected by police. It has been serviced by a dealer for suspension-related work. There is an open recall (NHTSA Recall Number 25V-514) with no remedy currently available. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? A small yellow blind spot indicator light remains illuminated in the side mirrors when the vehicle is stopped. There are no other consistent dashboard warning messages. The symptoms began intermittently prior to the steering pull event and have continued periodically.

2025 LAND ROVER DEFENDER- Dover , NH
While driving on Back Rd in New Hampshire at approximately 30 mph on Saturday, Feb 14, the vehicle suddenly lost power steering assist and simultaneously shifted into neutral. I received warning messages and immediately lost propulsion. Luckily, there was no traffic on the road with me, but that is not always the case on this particular road. I had to manually steer the vehicle without power assist and muscle it to the side of the roadway. The vehicle was disabled in the road and required towing. The vehicle has approximately 5,400 miles and is a 2025 model year, purchased in late June of 2025. The dealer has indicated the likely cause is a failed DC-DC converter, and I have been told the part is on backorder with extended delays. I've look online at forums, and it sounds like this is a widespread known issue that effects Land Rover cars with model years of 2022 and potentially prior as well. This sudden loss of steering assist and propulsion created a safety hazard in traffic, and it is possible that Land Rover has known about this issue for awhile.

Both daytime running lights failed simultaneously. Not covered by warranty and told that they would cost >$5,000 to repair. There have been hundreds of these reported and it should be a recall

2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER- Mt Pleasant, SC
Vehicle was started, while still in park, an alert appeared on the dashboard “stop safely electrical fault detected”. Vehicle was turned off and restarted, with the same warning light on. Called LR dealer, Vehicle was backed out of garage at service advisors advice, parked and flatbed tow truck called.

2023 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Chesterfield, VA
On January 27, 2026, while driving my 2023 Land Rover Range Rover a red warning light came on the dashboard stating "Electric default detected". Following this warning light while driving the vehicle lost power and was unable to drive, steer, or brake. I was able to safely get the vehicle to the side of the road. After having it towed to the Richmond Land Rover of Richmond, VA, the following day the service department indicated the "Epic Inverter/Converter" had gone bad. They also indicated that this is their tenth vehicle just at this dealership of the 2023 Range Rovers that has had the same problem. The fact that the vehicle just suddently loses all power creates a serious safety hazard to drivers.
