2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT- Oak Hill, VA
The seat belt buckle was damaged and would not latch or secure properly. It was not broken by use — it was already defective when the vehicle was delivered. I discovered the problem the day after purchase when attempting to use the seat belt. The buckle does not lock, meaning the seat belt cannot restrain the occupant, creating a serious safety risk. The dealer did not disclose this safety defect and rushed the signing process. The dealer has not responded to my attempts to contact them, and the vehicle title has not been submitted to the DMV, so I currently have no permanent plate. UNKNOWN as to the internal cause, but the defect clearly existed before delivery.

The engine coolant pipe cross over on top of the engine and the the one in the rear are made of plastic and is a known failure point. One simple search and it is known that its a super common problem that should be recalled and fixed. This is an engineering oversight and cost the car owner over $3000 in repairs if they are lucky to catch it before it destroys the engine.

2024 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- MIAMI, FL
It has already been 2 months, after the recall of the Range Rover Evoque 2024 for a faulty airbag. I went right away to the dealership located on 16750 SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY MIAMI FL 33157, and I spoke to the service manager named Henry. I asked for a loaner since it is very dangerous to drive this car with this faulty airbag, and he told me at the moment they cannot offer any loaner since it is not dangerous for the passengers if this airbag deployed at the time of an accident. He told me Range Rover will call me back when you guys get the new airbags. I called after 2 months and still no airbag solution for my car. I'm very concerned about my safety and passenger safety as well. and more since the problem is with the passenger front seat. i called as well to the RANGE ROVER headquarters and thy didn't offer any solution as well, and as a matter of fact they still have not any airbags to resolve the issue. I'm requesting a loaner or a rent vehicle while they fix the issue

2022 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR- Las Vegas, NV
[XXX] [XXX] > [XXX] [XXX] >? I’m reaching out regarding an issue with Range?Rover?Las?Vegas. Our body shop represents a client whose vehicle requires an aluminum roof-panel replacement. The dealership has refused to sell the part, stating that because it is made of aluminum it may only be sold to JLR-certified facilities. Under Nevada law, registered repair facilities must have access to the necessary parts to perform vehicle repairs. For example, Nevada Revised Statutes 487.6883 states: “Whenever the repair work performed on a motor vehicle requires the replacement of any parts or accessories, the body shop or garage operator shall, at the request of the person authorizing the repairs … deliver to the person all parts and accessories replaced as a result of the work done.” Refusing to sell essential parts on the basis of certification restrictions appears inconsistent with the principles of consumer protection embodied in the statute. 2009 LAND ROVER LR3- Colorado Springs, CO
Shortly after purchase the dash board begain to display warning lights. Then suspension warnings. The pump for the air bag suspension stopped working. The cars ride height was bellow the bumpers & seemingly had no shock activity. I stoped driving it because it said i could cause extensive damage if it continued to be on the road. I replaced the pump/compressor & it appeared to have been fixed. About 3 weeks later, the same thing happened & the new compressor stopped adjusting ride height. The car us currently not drivable. It has been parked until I can resolve this reoccurring problem.

2024 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Miramar Beach, FL
The component is Land Rover windshields and design of 2024 vehicles. I am on my 6th windshield in a little over a year since purchase. I have had a crack and runs in my vision on the window more than a clear vision through the windshield. The Land Rover Company/manufacturer/dealerships know if the defect design of windshields. Capital Glass in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has changed and commented on the number of windshields that have been replaced on Range Rovers, and Defenders all produced by Land Rover.

2015 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Jacksonville , NC
NHTSA Complaint Update : Final Submission Subject: AMENDMENT for 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Rollaway: Confirmed CAN Bus Communication Failure & Pattern Consistent with Recall 16V-368 I am submitting this update to my original complaint regarding a life-threatening rollaway incident on April 4, 2025, involving my 2015 Land Rover Range Rover (VIN: [XXX] .) New Critical Information: Diagnostic Confirmation: During evaluation by Jaguar Land Rover North America (JLRNA), the vehicle registered the fault code: “High Speed CAN Communication Bus Missing Message.” JLRNA’s engineer confirmed this indicates the rotary gear selector failed to communicate with the transmission, meaning the vehicle could display “Park” while remaining in gear. Prior Malfunction: Days before the rollaway, the gear selector became stuck in Reverse, requiring a battery disconnect to reset the system demonstrating a repeatable electronic instability in the shift-by-wire system. Severe Injury: The rollaway resulted in the vehicle striking and rolling over me, causing crush trauma and rhabdomyolysis with CPK levels of 10,000 U/L a near- fatal medical emergency. Safety Concern: This failure mode false Park indication due to electronic shifter communication loss is functionally identical to the defect addressed in NHTSA Recall 16V-368 (FCA, 2016), which cited rollaways, injuries and death due to rotary shifters that “do not provide clear indication of actual gear position.” Jaguar Land Rover uses a similar monostable rotary shifter design with no mechanical feedback. Given the severity of this incident and the confirmed communication fault, I urge NHTSA to investigate whether this represents a broader safety defect affecting JLR vehicles. The vehicle remains in JLRNA’s custody. I have formally requested preservation of all electronic data and components. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
