2019 LEXUS RX- San jose, CA
AC drain was clogged/malfunctioned which resulted in constant condensation in footwell. The problem persisted which resulted in black mold in the carpet and footwell insulation beneath the carpet. Lexus service advisers insisted the ac drainage line was clogged by a spiderweb but the picture they took didn’t show any spiderweb. After researching many Lexus forums, it seems like a common problem and many other people were given the same excuse of a spiderweb clogging the drainage line that also resulted in mold. Lexus doesn’t seem to want to take responsibility for the problem and rather blame a spider. They estimated $10,000 to replace the carpet and fix the problem. Other people on forums were also quoted $8,000-$15,000 as well.

Excessive oil consumption. I purchased the car January 7, 2021 and checked the oil on March 15, 2021 before a long trip and the oil didn't even register on the dipstick. I followed procedure before and up to checking the oil. I checked it when it was delivered and it was at the appropriate level.

2016 LEXUS NX- Danville, KY
As I was traveling eastbound going 55MPH, a car pulled out in front of me from a parking lot and hit my car in the front passenger side. The impact caused my car to go over both eastbound lanes, the median, both westbound lanes, down a hill, and headfirst into a fence. All passenger side airbags deployed, but my driver airbag did not. The impact from the collision should have caused my airbag to go off, and then head first into the fence should have been a second reason for it to deploy. The airbag not going off could have avoided a concussion and severe neck and back trauma. There is an airbag recall on the year, make, and model of my car but my VIN does not show up as an impacted vehicle. This is being looked into currently by the vehicle manufacturer.
