The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that while driving, a burning odor was detected as the vehicle lost power. Upon the contact's arrival at home, her fiancé called AAA service. Where upon inspection the AAA technician diagnosed the vehicle with a battery issue stating that the was about to explode. No warning lights were illuminated. The battery was replaced by the however the contact stated that the vehicle continued to have electrical problems. The contact received a notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V378000 (Engine) however the VIN was not included. The manufacturer or dealer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

Cruise control will not hold lock. Suddenly without warning and with no manual input the speed will surge to well over 80MPH and continues to accelerate until the cruise control is manually disengaged. Also sometimes it will go the other way dropping Suddenly to under 50 MPH after being running at 65MPH. This will happen without warning even on an empty highway with no other cars in front. I took the car to the dealer who told me other 2023 Corsairs have the same problem and they said they did a software update but the problem is still there and was not fixed.

-Check engine light on - Service vehicle soon light on -Fault with hight voltage system. Can't drive the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V635000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

LINCOLN HAS NOT PROVIDED THE OWNERS MANUAL ADDENDUM AS DESCRIBED IN THIS RECALL.

I’ve had my car for 7 months and the power steering went out. Not able drive until repaired for $2000.

Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to a dealer but was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 148,000.

The passenger side seatbelt will not retract or move (Locked in position that will not allow the passenger to buckle the belt)

The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact attempted to start the vehicle however, the message "Engine Coolant Over Temperature" was displayed, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 92,000.

Car suddenly stalled/turned off. Moving at low, parking lot, speed. Fuel Pump warning code found after the car was towed to repair facility. Closely matches the description of NHTSA campaign number 16V621000. <--Info provided by my mechanic. This VIN, however was not included in the recall.
