2015 LINCOLN MKT- East Brunswick, NJ
The contact owns a 2015 Lincoln MKT. The contact stated that there was a failure with the rearview camera, occasionally displaying a blank screen or being inoperable while reversing. The message "Camera not Available - Please Contact the Dealer" was displayed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who referred the contact to a local dealer for assistance. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V695000 (Back Over Prevention). The local dealer had not been contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 167,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Lincoln MKC. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V572000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. 2013 LINCOLN MKS- Weslaco, TX
Recall Notice: NHTSA 25V270 My Lincoln MKC VIN# [XXX] has a recall 25V270. I also have a 2013 Lincoln MKS Vin # [XXX] with no recall BUT which has the issues with the rear view camera it intermittently displays a blank and image is upside down and some times it will be normal. Should it be considered a recall due to the image may reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. 2018 LINCOLN MKC- Hawthorne, CA
The contact owns a 2018 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the failure was due to coolant intrusion into the engine. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. In addition, the contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V685000 (Equipment); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.

2004 LINCOLN TOWN CAR- Tampa, FL
My car has the same lcm control module issues as cars from the same years ad models, but when I enter my VIN it is not showing. +4 PO#3 1998-2000 Lincoln Town Car Lighting Control Module YW1T ... Yes, a recall exists for a 2003-2005 model year Ford/Lincoln Town Car lighting control module (LCM) failure that can cause a loss of headlights. The recall, #15S39, involves dealers installing a bypass module kit to fix the problem for free. The issue stems from a cracked solder joint inside the LCM that can lead to intermittent or complete headlight failure, increasing crash risk at night. The lcm is under the dash near the pedals. It causes loud vibrating noise for a long time and causes a parasitic drain to my battery almost daily especially when it's cool outside. The relay under the hood vibrates as well

2016 LINCOLN MKC- San Antonio, TX
The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the vehicle was shaking, and the check engine warning light was intermittently illuminated. The contact stated that her brother had replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that there was coolant intrusion into the engine. The contact was informed that the spark plugs and coils needed to be replaced with OEM parts, and the turbocharger, purge valve, vacuum line, long block, and fuel pressure sensor needed to be replaced. The contact stated that her nephew replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils with OEM parts, and AAMCO replaced the fuel pressure sensor; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 158,000.

The contact owns a 2022 Lincoln Aviator. The contact stated that while driving at 30 MPH, the trim pieces on the liftgate partially detached. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed; however, the vehicle received an unknown recall repair and was provided an estimate for the repair. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,333.

complete loss of steering control while driving , after a turn or without a turn. It feels like the steering wheel completely disconnected from the wheel control.
