while passing a truck that is in the right hand lane, adaptive cruise control will pick up a vehicle straight ahead and hit the brakes hard. Issue - there is no vehicle in front of you. Almost got rear ended due to this issue.

The adaptive cruise control (ACC) system in the CX90 is experiencing a high number of false positive incidents, which could lead to accidents. The system consistently thinks that a vehicle in the right or left lane has moved in front of the CX90, mainly when going around a curve. This is especially common when passing 18-wheelers, where the system will start alerting the driver with a noise and flashing alert to depress the brake pedal. The system then begins emergency braking procedures, even though the 18-wheeler or other vehicle has not actually moved lanes. This rapid deceleration at highway speeds is incredibly dangerous, especially for vehicles and large trucks following behind the CX90. In all of my incidents, the system has detected a vehicle in the other lane, but the vehicle has made no deviation towards the CX90's lane.

My car has a recall on the backup camera. Manufacturer Recall Number6023G NHTSA Recall Number23V-487 The recall issued in July. But I'm being told they cannot fix it. And as I'm trying to sell my car, I'm being told by buyers that the car has less value because of the unrepaired recall.

We noticed a coolant leak and took vehicle in for service. Told that engine has a Coolant Leak at Cylinder Head [XXX] . 5 year old vehicle, 56k miles. No other warnings. When radar cruise control is on, the car sometimes brakes hard totally unexpectedly when it’s about to overtake to a slower-moving vehicle in the adjacent right lane, and despite the fact that the CX-90 does not have any vehicle directly in front of it in its lane. This happens quite regularly at highway, when I am guetting within 100-200 ft of a semi located on the adjacent right lane, even when the road is at right. I almost got rear ended at 75mph by another vehicle because of that, as they did not expect my car to brake while overtaking a semi at that speed with no car in front of me. Very dangerous and needs to be fixed by Mazda.

Power Steering sometimes works and sometimes not. Can go out and stop working or start working, in the middle of driving. i noticed Mazda has a recall for 2007, 2008, 2009 Mazda 3 cars, but *NOT* 2010 Mazda 3. I suspect the same issue.

I bought a new Premium Plus CX-5 in April of this year. Since I bought the car, occasionally I hear a sharp click or snap from the dashboard, particularly when it's warm outside and I have the AC on. I have video footage of the sound multiple times, but Mazda says they cannot replicate it. It sounds like a rock hitting the windshield type sound, but it's electronic and inside the car. Multiple Mazda dealerships in So Cal confirmed the noise. It is because the vents are chrome, aka plastic wrapped in thin metal. When the car cools, these will snap but not break / do any damage. The contact owns a 2018 Mazda Mazda3. The contact stated that while his girlfriend was driving at 65 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that his girlfriend was able to safely drive the vehicle to her destination. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with rod knocks. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.

My car gave me a warning that it was overheating... and gave me a warning to pull to the side of the road because of safety and turn off my car engine because the engine is overheating. I was on the highway when this occurred. The engine coolant light was well into the red zone. I had my two kids in the car and my service animal... The car was say overheating and blinking the engine coolant red warning sign I brought the vehicle to a dealership and it was confirmed that my engine coolant was leaking behind the gasket head and is damaging the turbo charger. The same issue word for word that was stated in the TSB... Yes the warning sign of engine overheating and the engine coolant light to high flashing showed up on the vehicle and the warning of pulling over to a safe place to allow the car to cool down. I was on the interstate when the problem occurred. I also had to put coolant in the car because the reservoir was completely empty to take it to dealership for diagnostic assessment...I bought this car 6 months ago and it was running fine until 3 weeks ago. When the coolant continued to leak and the warning signs would not go away stating the engine was overheating. The repair for this known problem is astronomical and I'm wondering why Mazda has not sent a safety recall and why we are on the hook for the repairs when they know it's a manufacturer defect.

- Driver's side view mirror, vibrates constantly at speeds over 55 mph - When changing lanes, or looking at blind spots on the highway objects in driver's side mirror are blurry / blurred, due to the vibrations coming through the mirror. It causes focusing issues, ensuring objects and other cars are or aren't close by. I immediately look to passenger side mirro, which has no vibration or blurred vision at all, look to rear view mirror, which is also fine. - I had Mazda technicians confirm the problem, in fact it is a problem on many others, including the CX-90 loaner I had while the Mazda dealer had my car. - Apparently, it is a "Known" issue, but Mazda does not have a fix for it. - Very concerning, a brand new vehicle doesn't have vibration absorbing material built in to the mirror to stop this from happening - If you roll down the window, and put your finger on the mirror glass, you will get a clear picture of what is behind you / beside you.
