The contact owns a 2014 Mazda CX-5. The contact stated while attempting to turn off the vehicle, the vehicle failed to immediately turn off. After several attempts, the contact was able to turn off the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 70,000.

Steering: At 55+ MPH I feel a slight bind when I make a steering change. It then releases only after I've put in too much steering correction. This occurs when in a steady direction, or whether I'm in a steady, high speed turn. It feels like a snapping rubber band. While driving 40mph heard a pop, hissing sound and unable to steer vehicle. Stopped at roadside to examine tires, which were ok. Incredibly difficult to steer wheel and to stay on the road while swerving. I was within a mile of Belle Tire for a mechanic to look at my Mazda 6. He showed me how the open recall on the front crossmember was repaired only on the right wheel side, and the left front wheel had the same amount of rust completely broken apart. A phone call was made to the Mazda dealer closest, problem was relayed to service manager, and said even with my pictures, Mazda needs inspection on vehicle, and wait for repair was a month. As my only vehicle ,it took 2 days to get repaired by Belle Tire. I went with my receipt, and 10 photos, to the Service Department Manager that did the original recall work to discuss what transpired, and request a reimbursement for the incomplete repair on this open recall. He was not there. I then asked to speak to the Service Department Director. He also was not there. The Mechanic Supervisor took my name and phone number for one of the managers to call me regarding this problem. I have not received any communication from either Managers, which now has been since last week. There were NO warning lights on the dashboard when this occurred. I have had this vehicle since new, and only 61,000 miles.

On March 9, 2023 - car brakes failed at a red light and vehicle collided with an oncoming car coming from the adjacent direction. Vehicle proceeded not to brake for an additional 30 sec minum at which the brakes finally engaged. There was no braking alert - the smart braking system did not engage and there was Forward Collision warning. It is available for inspection upon request. My safety and the safety of oncoming passengers were at risk which could have been fatal Insurance representatives have not yet inspected. Absolutely no warning lots engaged.

We brought our vehicle into Mazda Dealer in 2021 for campaign 20V-063(2016 CX-5 – Daytime Running Lights May Fail - Safety Recall 4320A). Our vehicle had one of the lights completely inoperable and the other flickered intermittently. Upon inspection by the dealer, they only repaired the inoperable light-unit and was unable to replicate the issue with the other light. However, the previously intermittent light is now completely inoperable and the dealer will no longer honor the repair since the campaign is closed. Please advise next steps to facilitate a repair. The contact owns a 2010 Mazda Mazda3. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the contact made an emergency stop. The contact stated that he struck the steering wheel with his chest. Additionally, the seat belt pretensioner failed to operate as needed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the driver’s side seat pretensioner Part Number: BCY7-57-L90A-01 needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000.

I've only driven my car 54,000 miles in more than 10 years. Yet, I've had an abundance of brake issues. I've had to replaced my brake pads, brake master cylinder, and brake power booster unit. Now, some mechanics are suggesting that I also need to replace my brake rotors and brake calipers. It's ridiculous.

Coolant leak at cylinder head. It is available for inspection. Driving on the highway and the car overheating light came on. Yes it has been reproduced and diagnosed as part of the TSB 01-013/21. No warnings, no notice of leaks before this happened. Noticed this in January - and thought it was just a one off and had the coolant topped off. Nothing happened until a month later that is when I took it to the mazda dealer. Safety issue as no one knows about it until their light comes on and they take it to the dealer to look at. Having this happen in the middle of nowhere on a highway with three small kids is a nightmare. This issue needs to be investigated. It is definitely a safety issue. It is shocking to know that Mazda has known about this for a couple years now based on the date of the TSB. A letter, at the very least, should have been sent out to all owners. Instead they let us all sit with a ticking time bomb that will be cost prohibitive to fix.

Received Low Oil Level warning ... checked engine oil and it is under the minimum level on the dip stick. Car has only 11,725 miles

The low oil light has come on a total of 3 times already for me and I'm only at 18k miles. I have gotten 4 oil changes already. The 2021 models burn oil like crazy and Mazda has not put out an official recall yet. There's a TSB (01-012/21) and a class action lawsuit (8:22-cv-01055 )
