The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at speeds over 35 MPH, the vehicle began to shake violently, and the temperature gauge was in the red. The contact also stated that on one occasion while the vehicle was turned off, the vehicle did not start. Additionally, the contact stated that the front passenger’s side door could not be opened from the outside. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.

I had the same door lock actuator failure (door is stuck locked and can't be opened) that was flagged for Caravans through model year 2017 (the model year before). [XXX] Since little changed about these vehicles from 2017 to 2018, I'm guessing that might've just been an issue of insufficient data, so I wanted to document this failure that still may be occurring in later model years. Airbag lights suddenly always on. Unknown if they are working or about to deploy. Hesitation in transmission while shifting, not sure if working properly. I haven't had any recalls fixed on this vehicle. It showed recalls and suddenly it shows all repaired. Is it due to the year?2005? Seat belts don't retract and are have to be manually maneuvered.

The car seat base was not secure to the seat after installing. We installed the car seat rear facing to bring home our expecting newborn and noticed how much the base moved around not only side to side but up and down. I did reach out to the company Maxi Cosi and they stated that the movement was perfectly normal. Even after the video of the base moving. We returned the car seat to Walmart and showed them the video of the base and Maxi Cosi’s response. Walmart approved the return and placed the car seat in damaged goods so that another expecting parent didn’t buy it.

Took car into dealer for the following issue that we have had since purchased new. The Automatic Emergency Braking and/or Forward Collision Warning will shut off. While driving the customer we notice that the Automatic Emergency Braking and/or Forward Collision Warning will shut off and we will see two separate icons on the lower left and right sides on the dash Happens every time it rains, snows or very sunny out. This is a serious issue and Dodge needs pressured to fixed ASAP. Afraid to drive the car as a result. The dealer said Dodge is aware but has no fix. Unacceptable.

While driving on freeway or highway, electrical system fails, causing engine shutdown, and power steering and braking system fails to respond without excessive effort and delayed response. ALSO have had intermittent electrical failure while maneuvering vehicle at moderate to slow speeds or while steering around corners or turning into driveways. Touching or inadvertent bumping against ignition switch or rattling of keys on key ring can also cause electrical and dashboard electrical intermittent off/on/off in rapid succession. While driving in heavy traffic on freeway, almost wrecked car when electrical failure occurs during high speed travel and extreme effort to maneuver vehicle safely in heavy freeway traffic making effort to pull over safely a high-risk task. Tendency of driver to over-react or over-steer and under-steer and control car safely to side of road during heavy traffic, WITH NO FUNCTIONING SIGNAL LIGHTS, makes lane changing at high risk of major accident. According to similar reports found on Internet for same model year vehicle, others have reported similar cases of defective ignition switch in steering column, and is a safety hazard and should be recalled and replaced, and should include 2012 year models. While I was able to barely avoid an accident, only means that I was an exception to the rule.

The contact owns a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the hood flew open and struck the windshield. The contact immediately veered to the side of the road. The contact stated that the hood was bent, and the windshield was cracked due to the failure. The contact was able to drive to the residence at a slow speed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 01V040000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The dealer informed the contact that he would be charged a repair fee for the replacement of the hood, the grill, the windshield, and components; however, the parts were not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 152,000.

Car randomly stalled out without warning or signs of issues. We just purchased this used from Automax Hyundai. It has happened a total of 4 times this week.

Hey, The Power Steering Hose Busted for the 2nd Time Last then a Year apart. I believe this is a safety concern because of of no where the car becomes hard to Turn. I also seen that there was a Recall on the Steering hose for 2016 Dodge Journeys. I believe you all should Look into 2017 and 2018 as well. I Live in Minnesota and i Only have this Problem when it gets Extremely cold out.
