The headlights will randomly start getting excessive condensation and if it gets bad enough it will affect the turn signal and render it useless. The dealer and Genesis Care both just tell me to turn on my brights for 18min to clear it up. I've already had one replaced under warranty and now the other one is doing it outside of warranty and they refuse to do anything. Today there was so much condensation my turn signal stopped working and a warning came on the dash saying to check turn signal. There seems to be weak spots on the lens behind the bumper, it happens on almost every 21+ G70 and Genesis refuses to do anything.

I moved my Genesis GV-70 to my home in Reno, NV. My complaint is in regard to my car becoming very dangerous! I'm giving you my move to Reno because its relevant to this complaint. I didn't need quick acceleration while I was living in Florida. In Reno, I have to merge onto Route 80 everywhere that I go. Acceleration during a merger is extremely important here in Reno. So what I've experienced in Reno is a VERY DANGEROUS situation with my Genesis. My GV-70 stops accelerating around 40MPH, or roughly 5,000 RPM. The transmission stalls out and the car revs at 5000 but does not respond. I've almost been rear ended by tractor trailers and other vehicles because of this dangerous situation. I have since found out that my recall for a ECM Software Update-P030X Misfire problem is the acceleration issue that I've described. Here is my complaint: My car should not be allowed to be driven in this current condition. Genesis has understated the severity of this issue dramatically and certainly the language in their recall letter didn't reference not being able to accelerate past 40 MPH/5,000 RPM. I didn't experience this issue while driving mostly local roads in Fort Myers Florida, but here in Reno, this car and it's condition is DANGEROUS! It has caused near misses with very catastrophic consequences. I am driving my car to Rocklin California (2 hours away) next week for service which includes the Misfire problem as well as other service issues. The Misfire recall should taken my car off the road, Genesis did not address the severity and dangerous possibilities of this issue.

I was heading home early in the morning on 12/13/2025 to drop a few passengers on Springfield avenue heading east in Champaign IL (the Main Street) and the other vehicle came from 5th st heading north (5th street is a side street with a stop sign at that intersection). As I approached the intersection I saw the car come forward and then come to a complete stop before the intersection I assumed to look both ways. I was 10 feet away from the intersection when the car tried to speed across the intersection and I stomped on the brakes but it wasn’t enough to stop the collision from occurring while the FCA failed to kick in. The FCA frontal collision avoidance assist did not work when a car pulled out right in front of me. Since the car pulled out in front of me at the last second on a 25mph street my car collided into the reckless driver who had a stop sign and I had the right away. The car is currently in bad condition and the radiator got destroyed at the point of impact it’s currently at a collision repair center for inspection and repair. I gave a verbal explanation to the insurance company at this time there are photos to of the frontal area from the collision. There were no warnings that went off the night of the collision the FCA just failed to kick in resulting in an accident, when its primary job is stop a frontal collision it failed to do so.

Vehicle has severe condensation on both headlights (Driver and Passenger) sides. This issue was addressed before and light were replaced by dealership. This is definitely a design defect that allows condensation to accumulate. This has affected proper light projection which would not be adequate for reasonable visibility during dark hours. The amount of liquid(condensation) could potentially cause an electrical failure or spark in the front part of the vehicle. This issue has been broadly discussed in Genesis Forums with no permanent solution in sight.

I experience a lack of power issue when driving the vehicle and attempting to accelerate past 40-60 mph. I will floor the accelerator and the car still stalls and will not accelerate. This has been terrifying when merging onto the highway and realizing this issue is occurring, as it is sporadic and not noticeable on residential/low speed drives. In the videos I've taken, you can see the engine RPM increase to approximately 4k RPM; the gear indicator continues to show "D," indicating the RPM increase was due to a throttle-induced downshift as opposed to shifting with the paddles; and the vehicle speed fails to increase as would be expected at the necessary throttle application for the RPM to be at that level. I have taken my vehicle to to the genesis service dealership at least 5 times for this issue and it is still a recurring issue. Many genesis owners complain about this issue on forums with no resolution from Genesis.

The contact owns a 2025 Genesis GV70. The contact stated that the A/C system had become inoperable. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving 30-40 MPH, the defroster failed to engage as intended, causing the windows to become foggy. The contact pulled over to the side of the road to wipe the windows. The contact stated that the failure persisted while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the vehicle could not be serviced because there were 25 other vehicles of the same model year that were ahead of the vehicle for the same failure. The vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the repair was urgently needed because the contact resided in Southern Florida, where the weather was significantly humid, causing the windows to be foggy while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that another dealer would be contacted for the repair; however, the contact had not received a call back from the manufacturer after several days. The failure mileage was approximately 13,000.

I was driving my vehicle when all of a sudden my passenger side headlight went out. I initially thought it was a light bulb I needed to fix. I turned the vehicle on after a few hours and the light was working again, but on occasion the light randomly turns off while I am driving. I looked online how to fix it and found multiple people with same issue and condensation build up which mine has without being damage.

November 2, 2025 at 12:19 PM, I received a call from the owner, Jose, who accused me of “assault” against his employee Toni—despite the fact that I have never been physically near Toni. I’ve only been calling to follow up on the unresolved safety issues: no fluids, bad brakes (which they claimed to have repaired), and rear tires with no tread at all. When they repaired the brakes, I would have gladly purchased new tires had I been informed.??On November 3rd at 8:23 PM, I found myself stranded on the side of the highway once again—this time due to exposed tread and a large bubble on the tire. It’s deeply troubling that a vehicle was sold in such unsafe condition. This raises serious questions about the seller’s standards and accountability.??November 5, 2023 at 12:33pm third flat tire and the spare blew out into pieces after one day.??On November 8, 2025 at 11:30am, the second bald tire completely blew out while I was driving on 595. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a life-threatening situation. I could have been killed. The fact that this dealership allowed such unsafe tires to be sold or installed shows a complete disregard for customer safety. This is absolutely unacceptable. Their negligence puts lives at risk. Avoid this dealership at all costs??November 29, 7:57pm?supposedly changed the brakes and the rear brakes are grinding another safety issue??November 30 6:54pm?before leaving McMahon I’d asked to check the fluids.  Then when they supposedly charge brakes to check the fluids again.  Guess what they never checked all the fluids were gone.??December 2, 11:34am McMahon was supposed to fix the brakes well, surprise they did not fix the brakes putting me and my family’s life in danger. FLORIDA STATUE legalclarity....??Exceptions Under FDUTPA??• The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) prohibits dealers from engaging in deceptive or unfair conduct—even in “as is” salesIf the dealer falsely claimed the car was inspected

    1. ·On [XXX] I was driving on the freeway at highway speeds when the car shut itself down and went into neutral and accessory mode. No warning lights came on. Nothing happened if I hit the gas or the brake or tried to change the gear. With the car being shut down, I could have been hit by other cars traveling at high rates of speed or caused an accident due to my car shutting itself off. Yes, the problem has been confirmed by a dealer. They said it needed an entirely new transmission.
