I was on 495 southbound and the car lost power, and almost crashed. I had a recall (low-pressure fuel PumP) but the dealer is not taking me because I am not the original owner of the vehicle, I went to Fitzgerald-Hyundai Genesis Subaru of Gaithersburg, and Mr. Brett Davis turned me out. Need to know who is going to fix my problem, sincerely [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My 2018 G80 3.8L HTRAC steering is sticking. When I turn the steering wheel slight right, like through a 25mph curve, the wheel will stay in that position until, I pull it back to straight.

The contact owns a 2023 Genesis GV60. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V300000 (Power Train) however, the failure occurred after the recall repair was performed. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle experienced unintended acceleration. The contact depressed the brake pedal, and the vehicle made an abnormally loud sound. The vehicle lost traction and then lost motive power. The transmission failed to shift into park(P), and the Auto Start/Stop button was pressed but failed to shut off the vehicle immediately. Later, the transmission was able to shift into neutral(N) and then park(P). No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence, where the failure recurred. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.

The headlight assembly is not sealed properly. I had to have the passenger side headlight assembly replaced due to condensation inside of the assembly which can lead to the headlight shorting out. This was replaced by Lee Hyundai in Fayetteville, NC under the warranty. The driver side headlight assembly is now experiencing the same issue and it is set to be replaced again under warranty by Lee Hyundai. After some research online, I have heard from a number of other people who own this same model and year who have replicated experiences with the headlights allowing in moisture.

I received a recall notice stating that Genesis will "replace the low-pressure fuel pump assembly". I scheduled the appointment for the replacement, however, the dealer informed me that they would inspect the fuel pump part number and if the recall applied then they would order the part number and once they receive the part they will call me to schedule a time to make the repair. The recall notice said it applied to my vehicle and that the remedy was to replace the fuel pump so I don't understand why they told me that they had to inspect it first and then order the part before making the recall repair. This only increases the time that my unsafe vehicle is on the road. Of course their inspection indicated that the fuel pump needed to be replaced since I had received the recall notice saying just that.

THE 2021 GENESIS GV80 REAR BUMPER COVER VIBRATES WHILE DRIVING AS IF IT WANTS TO BLOW OFF. THIS PART OF THE BUMPER INCLUDES THE TAG AREA AND THE LOWER BUMPER COVER. WHILE DRIVING, THE TAG ALSO VIBRATES. IT SEEMS TO APPEAR THAT THERE IS NOTHING SUPPORTING THIS BUMPER. THIS VEHICLE COSTS TOO MUCH FOR IT TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF DEFECT. SAFETY IS PUT AT RISK BECAUSE THE BUMPER COVER COULD POSSIBLY BLOW OFF WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHER SPEED. I HAVEN'T TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER YET BUT I WILL HAVE IT INSPECTED BY THE DEALER. THIS FIRST APPEARED TO BE NOTICED ON FRIDAY, NOV. 17, 2023 WHEN DRIVING HOME FROM OUT OF TOWN. MY HUSBAND TRAILED ME AND NOTICED THE VIBRATION OF THE BUMPER COVER. HE TOLD ME TO PULL OVER AND EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO THE BUMPER COVER WHILE I WAS DRIVING. HE EXPLAINED THAT THE REAR BUMPER COVER AND TAG AREA WAS VIBRATING WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. THERE WERE NO WARNING LAMPS OR MESSAGES WHILE DRIVING. THIS CAR IS EXPENSIVE AND SHOULD BE BETTER MADE THAN IT IS. I WILL CONTACT GENESIS CORPORATE AND SHARE THIS SAME INFO WITH THEM.
