2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY- Newnan, GA
This vehicle has an active water intrusion from the headliner above the windshield due to windshield bonding and body seal failure. Water is dripping down and entering the dashboard area and shorting electrical control modules behind the media/glove box and media console. Each time the media/glove box is opened, the HVAC system shorts and forces the defrost system to activate involuntarily. The vehicle also exhibits Park Brake Fault warnings, delayed and intermittent no-start conditions, brake fluid loss, and electrical instability. This is an active electrical short inside federally regulated safety systems, making the vehicle unsafe to operate. The defect is progressive and continues to worsen

2020 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT- Tolleson, AZ
I feel unsafe in vehicle at times when driving. the vehicle stalls sometime when taking off after you have stopped at a light and press on gas it sort of hesitates then goes. I had someone else test it out and they say the same thing, also purchased vehicle from Carvana and dont think they inspected this car because the first day it was delivered I had smelled gas or burning inside the car cabin which burned my eyes like fumes. Took it to shop and it was there the entire time during the time when you can return vehicle to carvana if you change your mind. I sent work to Carvana this happened which they should have known anyway that if at Landrover during the time I was suppose to check car out I didnt get to. They just said it was to late, but recently feels like steering is off and I just feel so stupid I traded my vehicle in for a vehicle that could be potentially dangerous and Ive been stressed out.; I looked underneath where the steering wheel column I think that is what is called is and notice its exposed you can see the metal steering column visibly and it seem rusted or like it has been tampered with which could be due to the way the car drives. I sent word to carvana via message and I contacted silverrock the warranty people to see if I could get approved to take vehicle to landrover and they cover the expenses and it was a few days before the warrantly expired and I couldnt even get an appt that quick not sure what to do at this point.

2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY- McAllen, TX
I was driving on Ware Rd about 50 MPH on my way home. The vehicle turned off while I was driving and had to turn into a street before the vehicle stopped moving. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms prior to the failure. If I had been on a highway, there would not have been a way for me to get out of dangerous traffic. The dealer checked the vehicle and determined that it had suffered a catatrophic engine failure. They had no explanation on the cause of the problem. My vehicle had just run out of warranty with only 60,000 miles on it.

2025 LAND ROVER DEFENDER- Fort Myers, FL
The transfer case on my new 2025 LR Defender 130 went out at 5,000 miles. This unit distributes power to the axles. I was told that if I continue to drive it, it could seize up, possibly leading to a loss of control of the vehicle. Land Rover is aware that they installed a bad batch of transfer cases on their new vehicles. They have the batch number(s), and have apparently issued a 'service bulletin,' but not a recall. Nor did they contact owners to let them know of this problem proactively. Given the potential danger in the failure of this unit, a recall is the only safe option.

2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- dallas, TX
purchased a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque from Car Choice in Carrollton, Texas in October 2025. Shortly after purchase, I discovered the vehicle was sold in an unsafe and non-roadworthy condition. The vehicle had NO rear brake pads present at the time of sale, creating an immediate and serious safety hazard. In addition, the wheels cannot be removed due to a missing wheel lock key, preventing proper servicing of the braking system. Additional defects include a coolant system leak, windshield washer fluid leak, and an inoperative sunroof. The dealership informed me the vehicle only passed an emissions inspection and did not undergo a safety inspection. These safety-related defects were not disclosed prior to sale. Had I known the vehicle lacked rear brake pads, I would not have purchased it. After reviewing Better Business Bureau (BBB) records, I observed the dealership has a history of consumer complaints involving the sale of vehicles with undisclosed defects and safety issues, suggesting this may be a pattern rather than an isolated incident. I have filed formal complaints with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and the Texas Attorney General. Despite notifying dealership management, the dealer has denied responsibility and failed to resolve the matter.

2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Georgetown , CO
I purchased this vehicle in the end of October and shortly thereafter within 50 miles two days the check engine light came on P0299 turbo under boost. Immediately thereafter, exhaust fumes began entering the cabin from the engine bay. I notified the dealership and they gave me a loaner vehicle and they took it to complete auto care in Denver Colorado to have the vehicle fixed. I was told that the vehicle had a cracked turbo manifold, and the turbo manifold and the entirety of the setup of the turbo needed to be replaced. I find that odd that the check engine light came on with 50 miles of purchasing the new vehicle on the second day. It appears to me that the check engine light was cleared from the vehicle, and the vehicle was sold only for the light to return more quickly than they anticipated.I received the vehicle back no check engine light no exhaust fumes. It appeared had been repaired. I went through a 500 mile break-in of the new turbo. Within that 500 miles of the new turbo, I began to smell a gasoline, also coming from the vents and the engine bay once again entering the cabin. I documented all of this information and I contacted the dealership. Hooshies Auto Sales in Denver Colorado. And I also contacted the shop that completed the repair repairs. The dealership has not responded to multiple emails, indicating there’s an immediate risk to myself and my daughters in the vehicle from carbon monoxide from the exhaust fumes entering the cabin, not only that fuel fumes are still entering the cabin. The check engine light is back on P0299 turbo underboost. I have parked the vehicle as it is no longer drivable. I am in need of a vehicle for work and for personal needs. The dealership has escalated this to the owners, which I have tried to contact multiple times via phone and email and they will not respond nor will they call me back.

2021 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY- Grants Pass, OR
While driving my 2021 Land Rover Discovery (MHEV) in active traffic, the vehicle suddenly displayed an “Electrical system fault – Stop safely” warning. Immediately after the warning, the vehicle lost power and shut down, leaving me stalled in traffic with no ability to safely move the vehicle out of the roadway. There was no prior warning, no gradual degradation, and no driver-caused condition. The shutdown appeared to be related to the 48-volt mild-hybrid electrical system, possibly involving the DC-DC converter or battery management system, which disabled critical vehicle functions. This failure created an immediate safety hazard. I was at risk of being rear-ended and had limited ability to safely exit traffic. The vehicle became effectively inoperable without warning, which is unacceptable in real-world driving conditions. What is especially concerning is that: •The warning instructed me to “stop safely,” yet the vehicle did not allow time or power to do so •There were no visible issues beforehand •The issue appears consistent with known Land Rover MHEV electrical failures •Software updates were present, but did not prevent the failure A sudden electrical shutdown in traffic poses a serious safety risk to drivers, passengers, and others on the road. This issue should be investigated for potential defect, recall, or mandatory repair, as it compromises safe vehicle operation.

2020 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Phoenix, AZ
The component that failed is the charging system alternator on my 2020 Range Rover Sport HST (mild-hybrid). This vehicle has experienced three alternator failures prior to 100,000 miles. The failed alternator and related components are currently in dealer possession and are available for inspection upon request. Failure of the alternator creates a safety risk because loss of charging capability can lead to battery depletion, electrical system shutdown, warning system failure, reduced vehicle functionality, or potential loss of power while driving. Electrical warnings and system faults increase driver distraction and may impair safe operation of the vehicle. The problem has been confirmed and reproduced by an authorized Land Rover dealership, which diagnosed the most recent alternator failure promptly. All maintenance and repairs have been performed exclusively at authorized Land Rover dealerships, with no evidence of owner neglect or misuse. The vehicle is subject to a Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) recall and related charging system software actions, which affect voltage regulation and the charging architecture that supports alternator operation. The vehicle and charging system have been inspected by the manufacturer’s authorized dealer on multiple occasions. Prior to failure, the vehicle displayed charging system warnings, battery-related messages, and electrical fault notifications. These symptoms appeared before each alternator failure and prompted service visits. Over the past two years, the vehicle has been out of service for approximately 178 days due to repeated electrical and charging-related issues. Given the repeated alternator failures, recall-related charging system involvement, and safety implications of charging loss, this appears to be a systemic electrical defect rather than an isolated incident.
