  • 2022 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT
    - Stamford, CT

As I was driving my vehicle to my residence, the car lost all power. The engine remained ‘on’, and the engine revved if I pushed the gas pedal, but there was zero acceleration. Fortunately I was able to maneuver/coast to a side street and stop my vehicle safely. I also felt fortunate that no car was following closely behind me which could have created a potential rear-end collision threat. I had very little warning that anything was wrong with the car. Approximately 20 minutes prior to the vehicle losing all power, I was driving to a store and parking in its parking lot. The vehicle warned me to not turn it off and the instrument panel showed a warning of ‘Electrical Fault Detected’. Because the car gave me the message to not turn it off, I decided to drive home. I had no idea the car would suddenly lose all power. I still do not know what ‘Elctrical Fault Detected’ means. When I tried to investigate this fault, I was surprised to see that Land Rover Range Rover Sport models from 2023 and 2024 were recalled for this problem. My vehicle is a 2022, and I did not receive a recall notice.

  • 2025 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE
    - Carlsbad, CA

I am filing this complaint regarding serious and ongoing safety and quality issues with my 2025 Range Rover Evoque S. Since shortly after taking delivery, I have experienced persistent problems that have not been resolved despite multiple service visits over the past year. As a result, I have lost confidence in the safety and reliability of this vehicle. The issues include an overheating wireless charging pad that becomes unsafe to use. This issue has been acknowledged by the dealership as a known problem. During an early service visit, a representative advised me to purchase a third party wireless charger rather than offering a repair. The vehicle also has persistent interior rattling from the rear passenger side that continues despite repeated repair attempts. During my most recent service visit, I was told that the vehicle is built plastic on plastic and that this noise should be expected. Most concerning is an active passenger airbag recall issued Aug. 27, 2025. Due to a cyber incident affecting Land Rover systems, there is currently no remedy available. Because of this unresolved recall, I do not allow passengers in the vehicle, as I do not believe it is safe. This restriction has been in place for months and has significantly limited my ability to use the vehicle. I only drive when absolutely necessary. Because the dealership was unable to resolve these issues, a retailer representative who has been aware of the problems from the beginning recommended that I pursue a vehicle repurchase through Land Rover. I followed that recommendation and formally requested a repurchase. Land Rover denied the request without explanation and referred me to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to file a complaint. I remain in possession of the vehicle but no longer feel safe or confident driving it. I am submitting this complaint so these safety issues are formally documented and reviewed. • 2019 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY
    - Hackensack, NJ

This vehicle is mostly garaged when not on the road and has approximately 33,800 miles on it. On 12/19/2025 I parked the car in a lot while I went to an appointment in Allendale, NJ. It rained fairly heavily. About an hour later I returned to my vehicle and found water dripping down the inside of the left side of the front windshield and mirror over and onto the steering wheel and housing, and onto the dashboard. I immediately wiped the water up and drove to my Land Rover dealer in Paramus, NJ where the car had been purchased new in 2019. An appointment was made for 2 weeks later. I was told there were other incidents of windshield leaks in the model (and possibly other LR Products) and they said they couldn't do temporary fixes and either windshield had to be replaced or possible fix w/o replacement. I recently found on line various incidents reported of windshield leaks some of which damaged electrical connections that caused driving and safety hazards. Also found Lemon Law case advertisement (2024?) about this type of damage. Significantly, found online 3/23/2020 LR “Service Action N221 Windshield Water” re 2018 Discovery & 2015-2018 Evoque, See attached. My local auto body shop put on temporary tape to mitigate leak until fixed. Have been driving for many years & owned numerous cars over that time. I never saw or heard of such a leak. For this to happen out of the blue in my view in a well maintained car that looks brand new is a manufacturing defect that the manufacturer should be responsible for beyond any warranty without the need for litigation, as well as a safety and driving hazard that should not occur.

  • 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER
    - LEESBURG, VA

we had a coolant leak like the one reported on recall N785, I called the Land Rover USA office and they said that they only have a "voluntary" recall for this problem and I need to pay for them to fix it. It's not faire that they refuse to fix something that is happening in the same car and model but different engine type. They know they need to recall all the Defenders. What you can do to protect us?
