BRAKES: The Dashboard Brake Warning Lights are Illuminated most of the time. 1. The ABS warning Light is illuminated. 2. The Brake Warning Light is illuminated also. The Ford Dealership Service Dept cannot Fix it saying this is intermittent and attributed it to a loose wire connection located behind the Left driver Kick Panel. So far Brakes work irregardless of Brake Warning Lights illumination. You Tube videos offer no solution and clearly state Vehicles with Brake Warning Lights should not be driven. If my state required a Motor Vehicle Inspection, this Car would not pass Inspection. Please Help Resolve this situation.

The power steering is out and the car is very hard to turn and control. The recall has been confirmed by the dealer but it appears that they cannot fix due to my vin number not showing a recall for the power steering control module.

    - Rainsville, AL

I recently purchase 2010 Mercury Mariner. There is a few errors appearing on the screen in front of the steering wheel. One of the error is "CHECK FUEL LINES." It also has an error about the tire pressure sensor. It also rides roughly, but the wheels are like new, so it feels like the suspension or shocks have something wrong with them. Also, there is a lot of play in the steering wheel when driving it. When I went to check on the recalls in the system by putting in my VIN, it shows that there are no recalls on my vehicle. However, these errors and issues are connected to the recalls for my vehicle. I am sure that these recalls have not been taken care of for this vehicle and they need to be fixed.

There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that she engaged the electronic parking brake, and the vehicle stopped. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred while driving, and there was a stopping distance delay. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the brakes were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the ABS module had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.
