Primary Symptom: Pronounced, abnormal vibration felt specifically through the driver or passenger seat frame and floorboard. Operating Conditions: Vibration starts at 45 mph and is most severe between 55-65 mph. Also can be felt at idle when vehicle is in P or N or D. Safety Risk: Distracts the driver from road conditions and the vibration seems to be getting worse over time.

At approximately 57 miles after delivery of a new 2025 Porsche Cayenne, the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and related driver-assistance safety systems failed while the vehicle was traveling at approximately 67 mph. There had been no collision, impact, or abnormal event prior to the failure. Porsche’s diagnostic logs (PIWIS) confirmed the system failure occurred while the vehicle was traveling at approximately 67 mph. A physical inspection of the vehicle showed no evidence of collision, abnormal G-force event, or exterior damage that would explain the system failure. The malfunction disabled a key driver-assistance safety feature on a nearly new vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the selling dealer for repair and the manufacturer, Porsche Cars North America, was notified. Both the dealer and manufacturer indicated that the issue was not considered a defect and declined to provide further explanation as to how such a failure could occur at extremely low mileage without any external factors. Given the extremely low mileage at which this safety system failure occurred, this may indicate a defect affecting the vehicle’s driver-assistance or ADAS systems. A failure of Adaptive Cruise Control and related driver-assistance systems at highway speed raises potential safety concerns for vehicle occupants and surrounding traffic. The failure occurred at extremely low mileage with no apparent triggering event, raising concern about a potential premature failure of a safety-related driver-assistance system.

A coolant hose located on the top of the engine developed a leak that caused the engine to overheat. It was necessary to remove several components of the engine to reach and replace the leaking hose. This repair cost over 5000 dollars with the associated labor cost. Vehicle had less than 6000 miles on it at the time of the incident. It took several weeks to get the needed parts.

The contact owns a 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS. The contact stated that while reversing, the rear-view camera displayed a distorted image. In addition, the contact stated that the rear-view camera independently turned off and on. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the parts were not available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V896000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was made aware of the issue but provided no assistance. The contact was informed that the parts were not yet available. The failure mileage was approximately 10.

I noticed a hesitation when I Pressed the gas pedal, I also noticed the smell of Gasoline when I parked it in my Garage. I had my Certified mechanic look at it and he told me there was a recall on the Fuel sending unit, creating a transfer case failure, apparently the flange breaks and leaks gas. I googled it and it confirms it. I called the local dealer and they have not called me back?

The contact owns a 2022 Porsche Cayenne. The contact stated that the message that the mileage could not be recorded was intermittently displayed while driving. Additionally, the contact stated that the rearview camera was intermittently inoperable after shifting to reverse(R). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the cameras were replaced; however, the failure recurred approximately 5 months later. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the vehicle could not be repaired because the failure could not be duplicated. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V896000 (Back Over Prevention), which the contact associated with the failure. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

The fuel injection problem on cylinder 2 and 4 had injector electrical faults for the last two years resulting in reduced power warning. I finally took my car to the dealer for an analysis. After their analysis here is their statement on the service invoice: "Client state check engine light comes on and vehicle will run rough - Client scan for codes and had codes P0202 & P0204. Cylinder 2 and 4 fuel injector electrical faults. After updating DME software, clearing faults and test driving, mil illuminated again. Quoted fuel injector replacement. Due to the large amount of labor required for replacement, all 6 have been quoted to circumvent a potentially bad batch and to prevent a re-visit to replace any additional injectors at a later date." I had to pay almost $11,000 to replace "bad batch" injectors on a car that has only 13,455 miles. If they are "bad" injectors, is this a wider problem than my vehicle?

The contact owns a 2025 Porsche Panamera. The contact stated that on several occasions, the Forward Collision Avoidance system activated without an object or vehicle nearby. The vehicle abruptly shut off, and the Forward Collision Avoidance message was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer on two occasions, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was forwarded an accident form by email, even though the vehicle was never involved in a crash. The contact forwarded an email to the manufacturer that the vehicle was not involved in a crash. The contact had not yet received a response from the manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100.

Air bag light turns to "off" despite passenger sitting in seat. Took car to dealer (Bill Pearce Motors) who "verified customers concern" and "found fault present for passenger seat mat resistance to high" with a recommendation to replace "seat mat and module." This is at our expense (quote of $3700) and two trips to the dealer, being charged diagnostic fee each time. It is noted that a previous recall exists for this issue, however, it did not cover this vehicle. NHTSA ID 21V-131

Steering Gear. It has been replaced and is not available to inspect. I was unable to turn the steering wheel and had an auto accident as a result. The dealer inspected the vehicle and replaced the steering gear under warranty. It is probable that the defective gear was sent by the dealer to the manufacturer to inspect. The warning lamps activated after the accident.
