2019 CHEVROLET MALIBU HYBRID- GLENVILLE, NY
At 82,000 miles, cylinder number 6 lifter collapsed resulting in a bent push rod. I have since replaced the cam, lifters, push rods with an AFM delete kit for Texas Speed knowing that the same problem would occur if factory parts were used again. One would think that a newer vehicle should last longer than 82K miles with all the technology today. Oil changes were always on time between 3 and 5k miles. Unfortunately, I'm cursed with knowing how to work on vehicles. Is there anything that GM can do with my out-of-pocket material costs of $2500.00? Love the truck ... but very discouraged and may have to go back with a Ford!

2019 CHEVROLET MALIBU HYBRID- Worland, WY
While driving 65 mph down the highway pulling a trailer. I lost all power and chimes went off on the dash to push button to start. I coasted to the side of the road and vehicle was completely dead. It was towed to the nearest dealership and it was determined that it needed a whole new engine. It took 119 days for the repair to be made.

2013 CHEVROLET CRUZE- Tampa, FL
I’d like to report this vehicle and its engine as I did not know I could before we have had this car since 2015 This engine has chronic repeated issues that Chevy would patch once under “special coverages” or “extended warranty” and it fails again and again but they only honor it 1 time even if it fails yet again due to bad engineering or design flaws. This car has had 3 water pumps 5 water outlets- I eventually had to buy an off market alternative to stop this from failing, 2 (about to be 3) valve covers because the PCV valve is a chronic failure on the system cause oil to bypass into the intake and feed back into the turbo but it’s built into the valve cover instead of a separate piece like other engines. This car with the 1.4 L turbo is not safe or reliable to be on the road. The cruise control will work 1 maybe 2 times in a drive cycle then refuse to work again with no rhyme or reason and they cannot find the issue. This car has left me stranded many of times and is not trust worthy to be sold to someone else and Chevy will not honor the fact it’s a failing engine. Could this be looked into I know I have had this car a long time it is just now at 120k miles all these problems started before 100k miles and are reoccurring.

2022 CHEVROLET TAHOE- Brandon, FL
I am the original owner of my vehicle. It is essentially 4 years old and the evaporator coil has gone out on the vehicle. The evaporator coil goes passed just cooling the car. It affects the defrosting and temperature of the windshield for safety. The dealership is the one too have diagnosed the issue with the vehicle. It requires a complete disassembling of the dashboard on their part in order to repair. The only warning I received was the passenger's side of the car blew cool air, the driver's side blew hot air for a couple of days and then it went out completely. There was housing by the dashboard. When it rained, I could not defrost my windows. I was in a very unsafe situation.

2024 CHEVROLET EQUINOX- Damascus, MD
Wheat attempting to enter 40mph traffic from a side street stop sign the Equinox did not accelerate and the engine stopped. There was no warning of a problem. The car would not start and I received a message the a p129f error was detected and it was a critical error. It also said !fuel management system schedule service now. I also received a text that said "Diagnostic alert: Service the engine and transmission system in your 2024 Equinox immediately." I waited 3 hours for a tow and the car was taken to the local Chevrolet dealership where it was serviced. My grandson was with me at the time. I felt fortunate this did not happen while on the highway, or while pulling into the traffic. The fuel module was replaced. I was assured it was replaced with the newest module and computer updates. I am very concerned this will happen again based on what I have read. The car milage was 17,537 when the failure occurred and was covered under warranty.

2024 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Massapequa, NY
While driving home multiple lights, messages and sounds came on the dashboard. I stepped on the brake and there were no brakes. I put vehicle in neutral and pumped brakes a few times. I was not traveling that fast so the vehicle stopped before I hit the person in front of me. I drove 10 mpg with my hazards on to the nearest gas station. I called Chevy service and they sent a tow truck N/C to bring to the dealer.

2024 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- North Las Vegas, NV
Not that anything has happened to my truck but im genuinely worried that something bad will happen with my motor. With it being the 6.2L L87 motor. My truck was manufactured july 2024 which is 2 months after Gm's cut off. I love the truck but im worried about going to and from work, what if i was to turn and this truck dies and i go into oncoming traffic? What about everyone else driving their own vehicles? I hope something is done because im really thinking about getting rid of this truck in fear of something bad happening. Thank you.

2016 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Surf City, NC
I am writing regarding an issue with my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado that I believe warrants GM’s attention and consideration for assistance with the cost of repair. My vehicle recently began constantly dinging and displaying an error message on the dashboard stating “Power Steering Failure.” I took the vehicle to a mechanic for diagnosis, and the vehicle produced error code C0800, which references Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #PIT5474D. After researching this issue, I understand that GM is aware of power steering-related failures affecting Chevrolet Colorado models from 2015 through 2021. What I am having difficulty understanding is why, if this was a known and recurring issue across multiple model years, the related recall appears to have only included the 2015 model year. My 2016 Colorado is now obviously beyond its original warranty period, and there is no recall covering my vehicle for this known issue. As a result, I am now facing an approximately $2,000 repair bill for a failure that GM appears to have been aware of for years. I understand that vehicles eventually fall outside of their warranty coverage. However, when a manufacturer is aware of a recurring safety-related problem and has issued a TSB addressing the issue, it is frustrating for owners of other affected model years to be left responsible for the full cost of repair simply because their vehicle was not included in the recall. I am respectfully asking GM to review my situation and consider providing goodwill assistance toward the cost of this repair. I have been a loyal GM customer and would appreciate GM standing behind its product when a known issue occurs outside of the warranty period. Please let me know what assistance GM can provide and what documentation you need from me to have this matter reviewed. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
