2021 DODGE DURANGO- Jackson, WI
The driver side daytime running lamp no longer works after 55000 miles. The daytime running lamp (DRL) is an led light strip that requires the entire headlamp to be replaced. Anyone can inspect the issue at any time. The issue presents a risk to oncoming traffic who cannot see my entire vehicle especially at dawn / dusk and foggy days. The daytime running lamp is utilized to alert oncoming traffic and pedestrians that a car is approaching. The dodge dealership that I purchased the car from is aware of the issue and has neglected to resolve the issue. An independent auto mechanic has confirmed that the DRL is malfunctioning. There weren't any warning signs or messages. The light just shut off and has not turned back on. A new running lamp is $1200 and requires approximately $500 in labor to install. This is not an issue that is simply solved by changing out a $20 light bulb. The issue began about 2 months ago.

2008 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN- Brooklyn, NY
Vehicle has loose horn emblem Vehicle Heat/AC front not operable Vehicle driver side sliding door inoperable. Subject: URGENT SUPPLEMENT TO NHTSA COMPLAINT #11753124 — Unresolved Safety Recalls, Airbag Hazards, Dealer Refusal/Delay, and Conflicting Parts Availability Information Vehicle: 2008 Dodge Grand CaravanNHTSA Complaint: #11753124Mopar Corporate Case: #97575701 I am submitting this as an urgent supplement to my existing NHTSA complaint concerning multiple unresolved federal safety recalls on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. The circumstances have become increasingly concerning because the vehicle has multiple safety recalls, including recalls involving the airbag system, while I have received conflicting information from authorized Stellantis/Mopar representatives and dealerships concerning the availability of the required remedy parts. My vehicle was purchased used through a private sale. The NHTSA VIN-specific recall information shows multiple recalls as incomplete. The recalls include serious safety issues involving the airbag/occupant restraint system, the steering wheel airbag assembly, ignition-related loss of vehicle functions, and a potential fire hazard involving the sliding-door wiring. The situation is not merely theoretical. One of the vehicle's sliding doors is currently not functioning. The vehicle also has no front heat or air conditioning. Most importantly, the steering-wheel emblem associated with the driver's airbag assembly became detached, and I had to glue it back onto the steering wheel. I am extremely concerned about operating a vehicle with an unresolved recall involving the driver's airbag assembly and a component of that assembly that has physically detached. I contacted authorized dealerships to have the recalls addressed I was attempting to have the recalls formally initiated, the VIN processed, a repair order opened, and the required parts obtained.I was repeatedly given information that led to no service, late service, months away

2014 DODGE JOURNEY- Boiling Springs, SC
On Friday, August 28, 2026, my wife entered our 2014 Dodge Journey and found that the drivers side head rest had burst open. The vehicle was parked in our driveway. Thankfully neither of use were driving the vehicle when this occurred, as this could have caused an accident. There was no warning from the vehicle that this would occur. We found online that there was a warranty extension (which has expired), but that seems inadequate for such a safety hazard. The headrests should have been recalled and replaced. I contacted Dodge customer support and they said that I need to pay for the repair since the extended warranty expired. Their problem, my expense, inadequate solution on their end. Not cool.

2005 DODGE RAM 1500- Los Banos, CA
I believe that the pinion nut loosened causing my rear end to lock up snapping the ears off my driveshaft at 75mph on [XXX] causing me to fishtail and nearly hitting the guard rail. Coming to a stop on a bridge right outside of [XXX]. It's pitch black outthere. And with semi tru cks able to do 75mph every time they pass just shakes your whole vehicle and if you know anything about I- 40 semis are pretty much what runs at that time. My wife was very upset by this.the spot we were at was so dangerous that the tow truck dispatcher had there driver drop the car he was towing and get to us the driver had us stay in the vehicle why he loaded us just to get us off the interstate.at the time I don't know about recall p77.so at the time I had my truck towed to my mechanic. Dodge is giving a hard time about not taking to a dodge dealership. But as I stated I didn't know about the recall.so my father a [XXX] naval veteran on a limited budget and in bad health paid 1667.93 out of his pocket to fix his truck.I been trying to get reimbursed. But dodge refused stating I should have brought it to them.I supplied the work order and credit card receipt for proof of payment. Which is what they ask for.then they asked for a total break down of the repairs. And also stated that the recall wasn't responsible for the driveshaft snapping. I asked them how they could say that without seeing my truck. When they refused. I then asked them if I could bring it in so they can check it out and I could clear the recall. Still waiting to hear back. Is there any thing you can do for me regarding this situation. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
